I've been giving some thought as to why many people complain about this country, or want to leave. There's a lot of reasons but one of them is, I think, that we don't have pride in being English. It's difficult to raise the English flag without being perceived as racist, and you can't tick a box on any forms to say that you are English (you are often White: Other). and political correctness and fear of being sued mean that common sense in justice and politics has gone out of the window.
We've been subsumed into Europe and European laws are stronger than our own and the Human Rights Act has given rise to many laughable and lunatic judgements.
Are you proud to be Engish? If so, why? And if you have lost pride in being English, what are your reasons?

it was fetured on a commercial for jewlery. the commercial was of a man putting a dimond necklace on his wife while she was sleeping!

the lyrics are something like: "how can i tell you that i love you...."
