Personal experience. I was miserable and hopeless, stuck in sins that I hated but couldn't quit. Then I met Jesus in a real way and He revolutionized my life. Now I have peace and a purpose, and a hope for the future.
He is a loving Father. He is a friend, He is a savior, He is my hope. He is Love.

I know that God exists because all of the things that exist in the universe did not come into being from nothingness. Explanations of science, like the Big Bang theory, are lies because at there root something would have had to come from nothing. Nothing moves without an original force to move it. The heavens and the earth did not create themselves.

God revealed himself ages ago to Moses and the Israelites and passed down His Law for man. Possessing free will and unable to live up to the Law, man fell into sin. But God, loving His creation man, sent His original creation an entity just like Him to earth to take on the full burden of our transgressions so that we might be saved from the consequences of our sins and made worthy to be seen in the sight of God. This entity was born of woman and became known as Jesus. He was the one sacrifice perfect enough to cover the sins of us all, in accordance with the Law. God is Love, Mercy, Light, and Truth. Study the Word and His nature will be revealed to you.

ALl the diverse life around the planet. The complicated human system as well as the universe. We are supposed to beleive that all of this just generated and that none of it is due to creativity. That man and woman were selected to engage in such close love and the rest of the species, not, as chosen by nature. We are supposed to beleive that reproductive capabilties evolved and were not created for pleasure and reproducing new persons. and on top of that, that, with Iran and Korea becoming nuclear, we are just headed to self anihilation and that all of this is meaningless BS!

my experiences up until now has been more suggestive that there is a God than not
i believe God is like an artist .. he painted a beautiful picture and it has been passed on to others to care for and admire
a painter does not come back and tell the owner how to care for it , but trusts it will be in good hands

A loving God who did not create a fiery hell of torment (Jeremiah 7:30). A loving God who does not want anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9)...and who wants us to choose life (Deuteronomy 30:19).

A loving God who sent his Son, JEsus that we may again have the perfect life that Adam lost (John 3:16).

Faith makes you believe. I'd rather believe in God and go to Heaven, rather than not believe in Him and find out He actually does exist.

I don't have enough faith to believe in evolution by chance. I'd rather believe in a personal, loving God who has a plan for all of us.
