Yes, it does. Sex can be an enjoyable and sensational experience. And if you don't plan to get married (or if you're gay and can't), it's a much better solution than being celibate. Using protection when having sex, now that makes sense.

Of course, that doesn't mean you screw every hot looking stranger you meet. Maybe I'm a bit conservative in this area, but I'd like to think you have some feelings (other than sexual) for a person before you hookup with them in bed. That doesn't require a marriage though, just a commited relationship.

not to me it doesn't! i was raised religious, no sex before marriage. Well, i left the faith at 18 mainly for that reason. i beleive in sexual chemistry..and what if you get married and find out there is little between you too..see i was taught you fall in love with the person first, then the sex will be great...but for me...if the sex is great, it's so much easier to love the person who is pleasing you so well. besides, a friend of mine followed all the rules of the church and it took her and her man like a month before they consumated the marriage because they had no clue what to do. Then after a few times he hates it so much he tells her he is gay...now the wedding is a wast and a divorce is in order...had he experience a women before he married one he would have known he was gay before ....he prolly had his intuitions about it, but tried to "do right" and realized it wouldn't work for him. So my friend was devestated and thinks no man will want her in bed and she still is pretty clueless..very sad. I feel quilty because i enjoy my pre-marrital sex emmensly! hehe

The details of what you like about sex are not usual dinner conversation. As a result almost everyone thinks that what they want from sex is "normal." But there is a lot of variation in what people who are normal want. Before you get married I strongly believe you should do one of two things. Have sex with each other at least about ten times. Or sit down and talk it over in substantial detail with your partner and with whomever is performing your marriage for you. Many churches require extensive couples' counsel ling with their minister before he is authorized by his (or her) church to marry them. Either one can work but you owe it to the person you are or are not going to diverse to explore what each of you really really want deep down.

Sure. This is a kinda crude way to put it, but you wouldn't buy a car without a test drive. If you were going to marry someone you want to make sure you are physically compatible.

Besides if you are waiting for "the one" then what if you let it pass you by. Have standards and self control, but don't keep your legs crossed forever.

Yep, it does, especially if you can't legally marry the one you love.
