Islam is based on the illogical claim that Allah gave to humanity a scripture (injel) via Jews and Christians, but that they "corrupted" Allah's words and thus Allah had to send trusty ole Muhammad to bring in a new book, to clear it all up and set religion on the correct course.

If its true that Muhammad came as a 'book repair specialist', why did Allah wait so long to send this warlord to fix everything up? Almost 1000 years of Christianty grew exponetially before Islam was truely established (Muhammad was born 620 ad), so, if Allah wanted to "correct" the scriptures he allowed to get corrupted, why did he wait so long to correct them?

Why would Allah let his scripture be corrupted in the first place? Can't he protect a book? If he now "protects" the Quran, why did he chose not to protect his first works?

The entire premise of Islam is illogical, it makes no sense unless your willing to believe in a stupid version of God.

I do not want this woman teaching my kids.?
theres a new teacher at my kid's school. i do not like her. a few years ago she dated my cousin and made racial comments towards me behind my back. it got around to me. she runs every time i try to confront her. what can i do to get her fired or at least ensure her racist a** isn't teaching my kids. do i tell the principle about her or try to get other parents to help me get her fired? This is her first year teaching.

I am homeschooled, so not only am I home all the time, but I'm in front of the computer. My school is a digital on. I'm in front of the computer 5 hours a day. Now... add in my email, other websites, and this one that I am stuck to like glue for at least four more hours! Every day, I'm playing on gaiaonline. It's like this big world where anything can happen! You can be a neko, angel, witch, demon, demi-god, you name it! I'm in several things with different characters and such. One is an elf, another is a vampire hunter, and my best in the angel. But I'm online so much, that the computer has become my home. I never hang out with friends, I never go to the mall, I have NEVER had a boyfriend! I can't tell what is real and what is not anymore! HELP!!

I am married, with children.....always have been very straight.
But I have been finding myself so aroused at the thought of doing some things to a certain type of woman, and having that type of woman do certain things to me. But......when I came close to doing something about it.....I chickened out. (email tag and stuff like that)
AND when I SEE women around, the actual thought of literally doing something with them doesn't arouse me. I am afraid that I'll get cold feet and not want to do it.......and that I'll end up letting some bi chick, or lesbian chick have their way with me and be dry as a desert, and have no desire what so ever to do all the things i've fantasized about doing.

what should I do? get a porn tape, and just keep the fantasy in my head or indulge? What if it's just a mental thing.......i'm confused about it. any advice????

gays should not marry.... but if they dont marry then they are living in sin
gays should not have children ... yet there are millions of children needing adopted because they are given up by hetrosexual parents
these hetrosexual parents should not have abortions though as it is a sin

It seems like none of it makes much sense. We have an all loving God that sends you to hell because you didn't believe what some people tell you from a 2000 year old book, that is only one of several religions that have millions of followers. And don't say you send yourself to hell as a response, that is a cop out - you know what I mean. You will get an ETERNAL punishment that I'm not even sure the worst characters in history deserve.
Tons of innocent people are tortured/get sick/die cuz God is still pissed off over what 2 idiots did 6000 years ago in the garden of Eden - why do we have to pay for their sins?
Stories that an omnipotent being certainly could do - talking serpents, the Arc, etc..... but if you choose not to believe in tales every bit as fanciful as any voodoo story, then again, you burn forever.

I am serious when I say I would like someone to explain this. I am really trying to have faith but with these facts it is exceedingly difficult.

Today the third of january, (i live in iraq) i was with my dad on the pc then i had a phone call from a friend saying "Hurry, check the moon, saddam's pic. is on it" i didn't believe him first but he convinced me then i went out to check, i saw it the first look it wasn't a special moon but then i looked so well in it and i saw the dark spots that we see on the moon as Saddam's face shape (the pic. is saddam's face turning to the left and wearing the military hat" ofcourse an unclored pic., I called everyone in my mobile, some couldn't see it but most of them could see it and called their friends and they also saw it. I swear to you this is true.
But how do you explain that, is that kind of mericals? and what does it mean?

I understand that you have to have faith in Jesus but I have done the walk a couple of times and I feel the same everytime. They always say I will feel a burden lifted off me and I will feel free. I still want to do things which I am told are bad. I do not understand what I am doing wrong? Is there something I didn't read right or I am going to the wrong church? I feel like I am being pointed out in Matt 7 21-23::::21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

I have neighbors with 3 boys ages 10, 8, and 4. They are total screamers, like screaming at the top of their lungs. Their parents just let them scream like there is no one around. Our houses are pretty close to each other and I have spoken to their mother once before about the screaming. She just apologized but nothing changed. Now they have a drum set and let the kids bang on the drums and scream at the top of their lungs. We can't sit in our backyard or keep our windows open. I can't beleive that people can be this inconsiderate of their neighbors. I know that kids make noise but this is ridiculous. And they are the only ones in the neighborhood that have kids. They moved here 3 years ago and have no consideration for anyone. I need advice on how to handle this. Thanks.
