If all this category was for was christians wanting to learn something then maybe us "non believers" would stay away. The problem arises when right wing bigots and religious zealots start posting their views and telling anyone that disagrees they're wrong and going to hell to boot.
In the last 24 hours I have seen a posting from a guy saying how Mohommad was evil and Jesus was the son of God with no information to back up his claims, not even verses from the bible that we all know was written years after Jesus died by people that had never had an opportunity to hear him speak let alone meet him. I have seen "good christian people" judging and condemning other for their views on abortion, despite the fact that, assuming you believe ALL of the bible you profess to believe in, Jesus hung out with prostitutes and tax collectors and lepers, basically the scum of the earth in his day and age. Of course no one ever seems to mention a farily famous passage from that same book that says "Judge not lest ye be judged."
So if all you want to do as a true believer is learn something, then more power to you, but maybe you should take the initiative and try and teach some of your fellow "Christians" a little thing Jesus liked to call "Tolerance." Or maybe another favourite of his that goes a little something like this..... " Love thy neighbor as you love thyself."

Non believers in what? Non believers in hamburgers? Flying pigs? the moon landing? You need to be more specific. Yes I am criticizing you right now.
As for sarcasm, could it actually just be, in part, truth? I honestly don't care what religion people are, as long as they accept the fact they there are other religions and that they have an equal right in believing in them. If not- that is how wars are made.
What I do not like about christianity is that it tends to be the most close minded religion. I have travelled around the world and have witnessed many different religions and cultures that are much more understanding of other religions. They may not agree, but respect their decision.

Well, I wasn't harrassing anyone. Yahoo! Answers hasn't sent me a violation in a very long time. This IS the category I wish to be in, so no, I will not move on. ^_^
And you gave your own sarcasm, so why can't others?

Are you saying that you really want to learn something? You don't think you can learn anything from a non-believer? But I bet you think non-believers need to learn something from you. Your intolerant, arrogant attitude is exactly the reason why non-believers will argue with you.

Learn something like a pack of lies about creationism perhaps? This board needs non believers to provide a balance of differing viewpoints. I think the diversity of opinions is what makes this board interesting.

Everybody has a right to be here not just "christians". I guess you don't like anyone telling you what's wrong with your religion. Suck it up and if you don't like it how about going somewhere that you'll only hear positive things about your religion. Like a church.

I totally know what you mean! I often find myself scrambling to answer the "questions" of people who are just looking for excuses to harass people for what they beleive. And for fellow answerers, I think by "believers" our asker means "Anyone with religious or spiritual pursuits," not just Christians.

There just crying out for God, just listen. Maybe you can teach them something instead of making them leave with no knowledge about God in their minds. Not criticizing you or anyone else its what Jesus sayed to do.
