He sends you to hell if you don't believe in Jesus Christ and what he did for you. Satan play with your faith sometimes. You make it too complicated. God hates no one. When Judgement day comes, and if you haven't accepted Jesus, he will turn his back on you. He cannot look upon sin. We have free will and that is what gets us in trouble. Not him. Just love him, don't ask so many questions that you don't understand , because really there is a lot that we don't understand and that is where your faith comes in. I hope this helps. God bless you

First off, there is no burning hell taught in the bible. God is a loving God and there is nothing that man can do that would deserve to be tormented forever.
The bible describes the dead as being asleep, conscience of nothing. When your dead your dead with a hope of the resurrection.
God does not cause the problems that man is facing. People get sick, they die etc... Yes, Adam and Eve started the mess, but that is why Jesus came to die for us. To buy back for us what Adam lost. The bible give us a hope for the future that "the meek will inherit the earth and live forever upon" which was God's original purpose for man. There will be peace, no sickness or death and the animals will be a peace with man and with each other. Then all those in the memorial tombs will be resurrected and have a chance to live forever. As in Noah's day, it was the wicked that was destroyed, not the earth.

It sounds like you are very confused, have you actually read the 2000 year old book or are to taking it from someone else's point of view.
You are talking about a God who is "pissed off" and full of vengeance, but have you heard the other side of the story. The one that talks about a creator whose heart is broken because of sin and even though he is holy and can not abide with unholiness, he made a way of redemption by giving his very own son to be a sacrifice for the world.

Okay let's see how to explain this......First of all even though the bible was written by different people the words are expired from God. And as far as being angry he's not angry at us for what Adam and Eve did, he's angry with us when we sin. that's how you will go to hell. when you don't follow his commandments. Yes people get sick and die and all but that's just life where not meant to be here for ever. You have to have faith and hold on to it because when you loose that you have nothing. Stop being so angry and love, live, and relax

The reason you are having trouble is you have fallen for the lies of Liberals who would have you believe Jesus was a wimp. You are right that Jesus will burn you in hell and torture you forever if you don't follow him. Life isn't fair, but it was created by God and if you don't follow his laws he will burn you. This nonsense about Jesus loving everyone is made up by liberals to try to make Jesus look like a sissy. Jesus loves those who obey him the rest he will torture beyond any torture you can imagine. So it's your choice follow him or suffer a torture that will make anything that Hitler could come up with look like childs play.

Jeremiah 7:30, burning human is disgusting in God's eyes.
God is Love (1 John 4:8)
Sin is paid with man's death (Romans 6:23)
Lake of fire is symbolical, hell is only grave/burial ground.
I believe God because I love not becuase of hell. If you would like to know the truth I'd gladly help.

You are a deep thinker, So am I.
Valid questions, and ones that I asked for over 20 years before I found the answers. I can't give an answer in a few paragraphs, it would take volumes. I can tell you where I found the answers and it will surprise you.
I was a Protestant for 40 years and those questions haunted me the whole time. I was very anti-Catholic.
But the Catholic Church is where I finally found the answers, for me anyway. Search with an open mind, Jesus gave us the answers and the tools, they exist even to this day and for all of time. The Catholic Church has them, and as of last year, I am now a Catholic myself.
Good Luck in your search, and may God Bless you always.
Peace!

I'd like to share with you something which I was reading this morning on this topic, written by the late Selwyn Hughes.
"Wrath is not a defect in the divine character; rather, it would be a defect if wrath were absent from Him. Those who see God's wrath as petulance or retaliation, inflicting punishment just for the sake of it or in return for some injury received, do not really understand it. Divine wrath is not vindictiveness; it is divine perfecting, issuing forth from God because it is right.
Human beings tend to make God in our own image. He made us in His image, but we want to return the compliment, and it is there that we so often go wrong. Instead of reasoning from the divine down to the human, recognising that our sin has marred the divine image within us, we reason from our fallen condition and project our own feelings and ideas onto God.
Thus, when thinking of the wrath of God, we tend to look at what happens in our own hearts when we get angry, and we imagine God to be the same. But divine anger must never be confused with human anger. Most of what goes on in our hearts whenever we are angry is a mixture of unpredictable petulance, retaliation, hostility and self-concern. God's anger is always predictable, always steadfast, and always set against sin. We may tolerate it; He never.
Sin has been defined as "God's one great intolerance", and for that we ought to be eternally grateful. As His children we ought to rejoice that He will not tolerate anything that is harmful to us."
In seeing the love of God, we have to understand how seriously He views sin. So seriously, indeed, that He had to take the immense, imponderable step of sending His only Son to pay the price for us that we could never have paid ourselves. The God Who cannot tolerate sin humbled Himself and died the death of a criminal for us, thereby dealing with sin for once and for all for those who accept His atoning sacrifice. I hope and pray that you will come to faith in Him.

that is a loaded question, and a thorough answer would be a novel. but ill tell you this, I turned Christian after I was 18, so its not something that I have known my whole life or always accepted, I believe it now because it does all make sense once you dig deep enough. the bible is bullet proof.
And if you are having trouble with your faith, then pray for a sign and god will give you one.

I cannot give you my faith. You need to get on your knees before the Lord. Cry out your heart to him. Confess your sins. Accept Christs slvation. Follow Gods ways for you. Pray without ceasing and read scripture. Join a good Bible based church and get in a Bible study group. Build faith by submission before God. It is between you and God.
