It's curious how perfectly God created us.In his creation he included desire for the oppposite sex (or same sex if you want to be politically correct). Before you argue that Eve was responsible for creating desire, our bodies physiologically respond with pleasure to sexual stimuli. Therefore, isn't it safe to say that God intended for us to enjoy sexual intercourse?
Over the past several decades, the average age of the onset of puberty (therefore increased desire) has decreased to as young as 10 years old, while the average age of marriage has increased to nearly 26 years old. That can mean resisting a completely natural sexual desire for 16 YEARS!! Whereas, our grandparents were getting married at practically the same time that puberty hit.
So, would it be safe to say that it is no longer realistic to expect adolescents to wait 16 years, or would it be safer to give them the education they will need to make responsible choices about their sexual health?
