I'm just curious what peoples deal is? I don't get why so many people don't like it.

There's a very good point about the souls of cloned beings. No one really knows for sure if cloned humans will have souls like normal people, or if they'll be able to have religious beliefs. Another problem that I have with cloning is that I see it as humans going where they really shouldn't. God is the author of life, and cloning anything would be like taking this title from God and bestowing it on ourselves.

i dont see why anyone would want to clone themselves...the only reason youd need to clone humans is to clone parts like livers and hearts for transplants maybe parents could clone their children if they die wen there very young and if all its doing is helping people then i dont see why there should be any religious reason to dissuade cloning

I think one of the biggest fears is that it could get out of control. Some religious people would say it is "playing God".

There is the soul issues, will they have one or not. In the end times there will be people born without souls.
