I was at my friend's house after smoking weed and we were fooling around and started making out. I'm bi, but I don't know if she is. How should I talk to her about this? I'm going back to school tomorrow, and don't know how to handle this situation!

one of the most common creationist arguments against evolution is that "macroevolution can't be observed or proven". it isn't possible to explain the mechanisms of evolution on a site like this but for very current information on the topic, view the following:

I was wondering if anyone else could sense a demonic presence or see demons. I usually get a very uneasy feeling in the presence of people or beofre I enter a room. Sometimes I see shadows in the shape of unearthly figures, or a cloud of black surrounding me... Only spiritual minded people reply please.

If not, can you still respect the believers right to hold this belief, even as you try to prevent its practice?

Your own common sense is what gives you individuality and personal power. Isn't religion is just a shortcut to thinking?

A friend of mine who is a telemarketer, well actually she does surveys for the government, always gets ridiculed by angry people. Why? Are ppl so angry with their lives that they have to make other ppl so sad about themselves. I mean I know a lot of ppl (even I used to work in that industry) who work there temp. to, mostly, get their degrees and what not. I mean, are ppl that angry? I think most humans are just jerks. I mean if you don't want to be disturbed during supper time, don't answer the phone. If you're sleeping, don't answer the phone. If you can't stand telemarketers, get a block or something.

Ha ha, humans, they make me laugh.

There were two petitions concerning a native community (the Newars) in Nepal recently. There is a religious tradition of selecting Buddhist girls of childhood age to represent the Hindu goddess Taleju. This ritual is used to unite the Buddhist and Hindu community. However, one petition from the Nepalese supreme court is calling this a violation of human rights as the girls are required to abdicate until they hit puberty. They are also deprived of contact with their natural family and formal education. The other petition is supporting it, saying to deny it would be to deny the Newars their right to religious freedom. Former "Kumaris" (girls who are selected as goddesses) report no ill will towards the experience, other than a slight regret at the lack of formal education and some difficulty in the transition.
At least one of the recent group of Kumaris went on to receive a degree.

I see them as greedy, power hungry entertainers. If they were so spiritual why don't they give 90% of there money to the poor and needy? Only keep what they need to continue traveling and preaching. It's just a career move for them and a way to get famous rich and powerful.
