Very simply because the koran denies it and they accept the koran as infallible even though it contradicts and displays ignorance in it of what went before. This ignorance is not worthy or possible with God , especailly if it is the same God as they like to claim or pretend, in order to be accepted, but this ignorance is that of man and is therefore a great proof that the koran is a false compilation of sayings mixed with some bibical motifs and borrowing.

Islam doesn't deny that Jesus came to earth, though it doesn't endourse the holy spirit, that was a seperate idea, not official until 350 years after Christ's death at the Council of Nicea, and in general not directly refferencing Jesus. This is why people call it "the father, the son, and the holy spirit", because the son and the holy spirit are two seperate entities. Furthermore, I suppose it's logical for them to regard the prophet Mohammed as "the one who will come after me", as opposed to a figurative spirit which no one can see directly. Jesus never mentions the holy spirit, nor do any supposed prophets to my recollection.

That was a sweet question, but its a bit wrong. Jesus came to earth and has a body. The Holy Spirit is a spirit. They are 2 separate manifestations of the One true God. Your heart is in the right place. It was the Holy Spirit's power that over shadowed Mary at the incarnation., Matthew first chapter.

Islam was formed by a son of Ishmael who all had household idols. Ali or the name of Mohamed's family household god is buried at Mecca, not Abraham or his son Ishmael. They are against the true God of Israel who hates Idolatry. Islam belongs to a long list of false prophets.
They are the king of the south in the Christian Holy Bible and that of the Jewish Books. Satan as he is call has blinded then from the truth. So it is with the rest of the world who are doomed, that is, those who will not do righteousness. Of coarse we all need the renewing of the Spirit of God (Yahweh) to do this. Only through the true Son of God (Yeshua) whom the world calls Jesus Christ can this be done. The just shall walk by faith. Now that the king of the south (Muslims)has pushed at the king of the north (Christian America) prophesy with soon be fulfilled. Dan. 11:40- to the END. And yes, Yeshua and God are one and the same person. Not two or three-the trinity is a false doctrine. We are created in Gods image-Spirit, Soul, Body. God is Spirit, He has a soul (mind), and a body (Christ) that is now the church. I see only one person. Just as you do.

Have mercy and have some intelligent questions rather than hiding your real identity, and naming yourself Christian and trying to incite Christian against Muslims. Both Christian and Muslim know of this trend in Yahoo and cannot be fooled forever.
To answer your question any way, it is know for 1400 hundred years that Muslim revere Jesus as an exalted Prophet of Islam, born to Mary of Miraculous birth; sent as a Prophet to the Jewish people who had abandoned the simple ways of the religion ordained by Allah and made the religion so complicated, full of rituals and ceremonies that it was beyond the comprehension of laymen Jews. Jesus was sent as a guide to bring back the true path but his message was intransigently refused and instead the elder rabbis conspired with the occupiers of the land to have Jesus hanged. But Allah by His mercy saved Jesus, raised him to heaven and shall come again.
Muslim believe that Jesus was a Prophet of Islam and a human and not partner in the divine attribute of the one true God Almighty.
Who can say that the Muslims are denying a very very obvious fact that it was God who came down to earth? How obvious you think it is that you are questioning why will someone have difficulty believing that Jesus was God and not human? I believe that he was a human sent as a Prophet for salvation by guidance. That is more obvious and believable to me.
How many Christian believe in Jesus as a guide/teacher and a messenger of God in human form rather than God? The answer is “Many”. And you surely know that there many who do not believe in him as a God or a Prophet.
And there were a lot many more Unitarian before Emperor Constantine sided with the Trinitarian against the Unitarians and sent the Unitarians under ground after the might support of the emperor in favour of Pauline Christianity. Muslims believe that they respect Jesus more by respecting his real position as a Prophet in human flesh.
We should pray for each other and self that the Almighty show us all the right path. Aameen.

But I really believe that you are not a Christian and your purpose is sinister rather than sincere.

Hmm. First of all, the Holy Spirit did NOT come as Jesus.

Jesus, the Son of the one true God, came to provide the path to salvation of the eternal soul.

When Muhammed was inventing islam, he rejected/denied the divine nature of Jesus (calling Him just another "prophet"...and on a lesser stature than Muhammed himself). In denying the nature of Jesus, Muhammed was also denying the nature of the one true God. In doing THAT, his invention of "allah" was obviously a false god.

Actually, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are two separate parts of the mystery of the Trinity; not the same thing at all.

Islam denies it?? U really need to get ur facts straight and research better. We believe that Jesus was blown into the sleeve of Mary by Gabriel. We also believe that Jesus and every mankind has their soul blown into them by God! We just dont believe that Jesus is lord or that he is the son of God. (Same with judaism!)

Actually, the question is why are you just questioning Islam?

I think every religion other then 'whatever it is you believe' deny it as well, or else they'd all be the same religion.

Get your questions straight dear.

Peace.
