Age gap is 5 years, I see my husband for who he is and I do NOT expect him to be something he is not or doesn't want to be. He is younger than I and he is also extremely mature and we have great communication between each other.

I am ten years older than my partner. I was a little concerned about the age gap in the beginning; but as I have come to know my partner over a five year period, I have found that she can be quite old fashioned. In contrast, I can be young at heart, so we seem to 'balance out.' I now see the person regardless of age.

11 years between me and my ex. He was almost 40 and I thought it was beneficial at first, but over time all I could think about was his age and how far along he should be in his life. Age is just a number, but a relationship should be about being equals and having similar goals for their lives. As long as you're happy the age shouldn't matter.

My husband and I are 7 years apart: he's 56 and I'm 49. The age difference makes no difference at all at this stage of the game. Perhaps when we were younger, it would have made more of a difference, but not now.

There are approximately three years between my wife and me. She was born in '54 and I in '57. We're pretty close in age, and now, it hasn't been much of an issue for about 25 years or so. But, initially, she was a little more mature than I was, so there was a little friction in the beginning.

My husband is 4 years my senior and it does kind of show but moreso ina pop-cultural way - as in talking about music or television shows from when we were kids - I don't remember a lot of them as I would've only been about 1 or 2 years old. In relation to school, again it shows as I've known him since I was 4 but in every other aspect, it makes no difference at all.
