Not many people died in Shia-Sunni fight in Iraq during Saddam's time.
Saddam was able to maintain law and order in Iraq even if it was by Sword. It does not matter as US kills Iraqi\uies in the same way as Saddam

Why do Muslims talk about the Crusades when talking about current events?

Israel and USA did not exist during the Crusades. Not a single person from the Crusades is alive today. Bush is not working for the Pope. Last time i checked the pope condemned both wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Bush is not converting Muslim to Jesus.

(PS Im Not a Christian)

They're dumping on Rosie over on another part of YA, and I was shocked at some of people's answers.
Anybody care to go add your two cents worth?

If the Christian faith is the true faith, then why are there so many different versions of the truth? If its the truth, than it's the truth right? And don't tell me God has many different versions of his Word mumbo jumbo. Give me a real answer! If you can.

Most say homophobia is based on hate, and they would never teach their child to accept that.

I say sin is sin, and my kids will know the difference. They will be taught to love people, but hate sin. There is a difference. I can love you but hate your actions.

So, for all that think it is about hatred toward an individual, will you teach your kids Religionaphobia or Christianaphobia?

Blessings in 2007,

It just seems like such a random sin. "Love one another", I get. "Don't kill one another", I also get. The two go hand-in-hand as preventative measures against, you know, rampant homicide.

"Don't steal", I get that. I believe most major corporations agree.

I understand not worshiping any other gods. I mean, it doesn't apply to me, exactly, but if you're religious, that should be obvious. Don't take the name of the Lord in vain. Don't lie. Basically, the Bible covers most of the things any good etiquette book would as well. But then, seemingly out of nowhere, "EXCUSE me, gentlemen! Thou shalt not put the penis of another man in your mouth!" (Wives, however-- go for it!)
Why do you think God would say such a thing, if you believe in God? I know you're going to quote the Bible, because that's your default reaction, but if it's possible to give an opinion in your own words, please do. And don't just say "it's unnatural." WHY is it unnatural?

There are a number of questions that are posted that for what ever reason find a way to offend someone. For the busy bee do gooders that remove the questions I ask...why wait until the question was resolved to remove it? Furthermore asking questions that get opposing views, no matter how extreme, is often the intent. It appears you are trying to appeal to persons under the age of 15. My comment about young girls not being able to think for themself was directed at the numerous questions on "how do I know if he likes me" or "should I beat her up for talking to my BF". If it offend you don't read it. If you read it respond to the question showing me the idiot I am. I think once you have a violation recorded you are targeted for borderline questions. Tell me are there children making the decisions for what adults pay for? Who has any thoughts on this matter? Am I just being petty?

Let's say a well respected neurosurgeon takes out your brain. But as the surgeon cuts each nerve that attaches your brain to the rest of your body, she attaches a transmitter/receiver at the cut ends of each nerve, so the nerves can still talk to each other. Finally, as your brain is freed from the confines of your body, it is put in a vat of nutrients.

Now, you can walk, talk, see, and otherwise function as if you're still put together; after all, your brain can still stimulate the nerves that make your arm reach out, and when it touches something, the nerves communicate right back to your brain, right?

So now, let's say you walk back into the lab, and you see your brain floating in this jar.

Where are YOU? Are you in your body, looking at your brain? Or are you in your brain? But wait, if you're actually in your brain, how can you be looking at yourself in the jar?
