It just seems like such a random sin. "Love one another", I get. "Don't kill one another", I also get. The two go hand-in-hand as preventative measures against, you know, rampant homicide.
"Don't steal", I get that. I believe most major corporations agree.
I understand not worshiping any other gods. I mean, it doesn't apply to me, exactly, but if you're religious, that should be obvious. Don't take the name of the Lord in vain. Don't lie. Basically, the Bible covers most of the things any good etiquette book would as well. But then, seemingly out of nowhere, "EXCUSE me, gentlemen! Thou shalt not put the penis of another man in your mouth!" (Wives, however-- go for it!)
Why do you think God would say such a thing, if you believe in God? I know you're going to quote the Bible, because that's your default reaction, but if it's possible to give an opinion in your own words, please do. And don't just say "it's unnatural." WHY is it unnatural?

You know the system, not the people in it necessarily, but the system of homosexuality is satanical when a good word is stolen for evil purposes according to the bible. The bible teaches this is wrong. It just seems such a no-brainer, like, one lock, one key, the key goes in the lock, and both people are now one together for a little while to get closer to each other, closer to God. To put it up the anus where feces live, where viruses live, where 'crap' comes out, and no matter how much people might try to clean it, there are crevices, and disease will be spread this way, and much, much more than this, has men not even looking at each other, just using each other, and I'm talking the physical act. Women pleasuring each other are lacking, maybe they lack the ability to relate to a man, or have had bad experiences but God wants a man and a woman to do far more than sex, rather to learn how to help each other.

God has characterized sin as anything that is not conducive to health and happiness in his creation. He created us, he should know what will ultimately make us happy and healthy. I don't understand it all and I certainly don't claim to but some things become apparent when you look at the situation right now with homosexuals (many of them also are apparent when you look at heterosexuals with multiple partners, people who practice beastiality, etc.). Then, of course, there is the balance that he built into the first couple (the masculine on the one hand and the feminine on the other) which probably is far from what we see now because of so much inherited sinfulness, but how can it ever be helped if the same imbalance is promoted? And, don't forget headship and order and children. All these things are part of his plan.

If there were no Human or Biblical laws against parents sleeping with children, siblings with other siblings, humans with animals, ect, would you still feel they were inappropriate? Why or why not? There is an innate wisdom within each of us, alerting us to right and wrong. That is how God designed us!
We may want and desire a lot of things, but if they are inappropriate, right before indulging in them, there is a small voice, and intuitive wisdom that will tell us something is not right.
On a different note, 1 Corinthians 14:33 tells us that God is not the author of confusion. The Lord creates order with clear instruction and distinctions to avoid misunderstandings. There is night and day, the righteous and the unrighteous, heaven and hell, land and water, men and women, and the list goes on.
We were created different genders for a reason, that is why the male body is made for a female body, and so forth. Just because one is able to be sexual with both genders, does not mean it is appropriate. It is a sexual appetite....a fleshly desire....and it does NOT have to be acted upon.
One is better off being celibate, than choosing to willfully commit a sin they know is wrong. It's not about whether HUMANS approve of homosexuality or not, they can't save you or send you to hell. If everyone on this board tells you IT'S OK, and your pastor welcomes you with open arms(even pastors can have sinful secret desires), it means NOTHING. I would be worried about God's opinion and his only.

Wow, I love your question!
I do not see Homosexuality as unnatural and I do not see it as a sin. I believe that god would have been more specific about Homosexuality if it was an actual sin, much like the commandments which were listed and clearly written. Love is Love and more and more people are figuring it out every day... It is a shame that some Christians think that by spreading hate amongst the people of this planet that they are somehow going to be held up and praised in heaven. hummmm kinda sounds like the same reason the terrorists flew the planes into the WTC. that's scary isn't it

I am no homosexual but I have nothing against those who are. There are so many ills in this world perpetuated by people that have a direct or indirect negative effect on others. So, what any man or woman does in the privacy of their bedroom has nothing to do with me.
In South Africa, parliament has just passed law allowing same sex marriages. Many religious groups were up in arms but the government insisted that South Africa is a Constitutional democracy which specifically forbids discrimination based on sexual orientation.
I am still to see religious leaders (especially Christians as they were the most vocal) organizing marches to demand that government must legislate against adultery.

The whole point of sex is for two souls to join as one. It is the closest a human can get to being God. Thus, a man and a women are needed. The act was intended for two different sexes. For Gods own sex is that of man and women. Thus a man and a man would make for a weird combo. As it would a women to a women. By the way, I can not recall the Bible ever saying that it would be alright for a man to stick his C**K into a women's mouth. What a man and a women do behind closed doors should be between the two of them.
Another example. The whole "gay" thing is not even about love. OK, you got me, physical love. But that is not what a lasting relationship will thrive on. You have to cover every base. I have homosexual friends who could care less if they were aloud to marry or not. They just see it as a sexual exploration type of deal. And that my good old friends is the REAL reason why it is not right. Its all about sex. Nothing more, nothing less. It is a perversion of the natural.
Nature never ment this to be. As far as a right or wrong issue it is only about sex. Mind you I do not hate anyone who acts in these manners. I just do not agree with their choice as far as how they live their life. But then again, it is not my place to tell one or another how to live their lives. But the reasons listed are the reasons why I think it is wrong.
I would like to state that I have not used any biblical scriptures thus far.

What can you get out of a homosexual relation, besides sexual pleasure? When nature or God created us made us men a women to keep reproduction, How humans will evolve with out the sexual connection between a man and a woman. Been gay is a decision made by a person, I don't swallow that theory of "I was a woman in a past life and now I'm trapped in a man's body" or "I'm a man trapped in a woman's body" Homosexuality is a sin for the mere reason the attempts against the human race.

Homosexuality was NOT ordained of God! He created man and woman to be the procreators of Earth, it's forbears and assigns and have dominion over it. As for the sexual nature of their union, it was a way in which they could derive love and pleasure in a way that was holy in God's sight. If you notice, there are several types of sexual immorality described in the OT (particularly Leviticus) that man is told NOT to partake of, for they are seeds of the Devil, meant to sow sin and discord among what God "hath joined together". Homosexuality is the very antithesis of what God ordained for interpersonal relationships. He ordained man and woman; Satan ordained men with men, women with women as Romans says "....working that which is unseemly".

Leviticus 18:22: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 20:13: The penalty for homosexual acts is death to both parties. They have committed a detestable act and are guilty of a capital offense.
I think the Bible makes it clear that this isn't productive behavior. The Bible goes on to say in the New Testament that sex outside of marriage is a sin.
Think of all the sexually transmitted deceases we have. All of them started due to one kind of sexual perversion or another. Plus divorce, unwanted pregnancy and all kinds of grief come from finding pleasures outside of the marriage bed.

When two males have sex does a baby come from it. What miracle comes from two people of the same gender having sex. None. God didn't take a rib from adam and make his perfect mate a male. So God doesn't want us to have our mates be of the same Gender. Not to mention the two reproductive organs are the penis and the vagina. Unless you are really talented a penis does not fit into a penis and a vagina does not fit into a vagina. However a penis does fit into a vagina. What other evidence do you need. There is nothing that can justify being homosexual. But you know what else God gave to you. Freedom! You have the choice. Make the right choice!
