Man, some of you cannot read, Wikipedia cites a source. History of the Arabs by Philip Hitti(A Christian), History of the Arabs by Albert Hourani(A Christian), Arab Historians of the Crusades by Francesco Gabrieli and by the looks of his name he must be some wack muslim author. Man, talk about who's biased.

What do you expect? Germany and France had barely climbed out of a state of complete barbarism at the time of the Crusades. It was the product of this little thing called the "Dark Ages," when naked cannibals poured down from Eastern Europe to escape the Huns. They forged a civilization based on extortion, and all but forced Constantinople to hand over land and titles, creating a hierarchy of illiterate "nobles." They converted to Christianity for one reason only: In the early years of the Barbarian invasion, Constantinople worked with the Romans to bolster the strength of the Papacy against the barbarian hordes. Members of aristocratic families entered the Church and formed a college to control Papal elections. The Germanic tribes converted to Christianity as a means of getting a foothold over the Roman population (which, at that time, made up approximately 85% of the population of France).

Few people realize that the Franks usurped the Papacy in the 11th century, just prior to the Crusades. They forced the Roman Pope to step down, and replaced him with a Frankish Pope loyal to the Throne. Shortly thereafter they forced the doctrinal issue of the filioque as an excuse to excommunicate Constantinople, effectively cutting off the East Romans from the West Romans. Then they sparked the Norman invasion of England, where all of the bishops of the Anglican Church were either killed or imprisoned, and were subsequently replaced with bishops loyal to the new Pope. Following that, they embarked on the Crusades, and shortly thereafter sacked Constantinople, chasing the women and children into the Church of the Holy Wisdom and butchering them before the altar.

For the most obvious reason - there literally was no other food. They were highly underprepared for the journey and battle, and lost many more men than was necessary. Those who survived and returned home brought tales of horror about what had happened due to lack of prepareedness. Each subsequent crusade was much better prepared for the environment.

I tend to think things like... if he would just move to left just a hair I would blow...oh God this is good...if I do this he is gonna... if I am thinking about where are my keys, then I need to find a new playmate. I have to say I have never fantasized about another man when I am with a man. I do however when I am playing by myself... I am a single woman by the way. Have to agree with the role playing comments from the other women... If you are not totally there, don't be there at all.

What an incredibly statistically biased "question". I certainly DON'T believe your assertion. Cites, oh please, cites. And NOT some lame link to yet another muslim wack site. REAL cites.

Why did many Muslims practice the worship of a false god during the Crusades?

They must have been really hungry. I bet the people who had been trapped in the town were starving too. None of them lived to tell what happened.
