I agree with you.
No one can possibly be that happy and be human.

sorry you're having one of those days.. I hate them too. But I usually enjoy Joel Osteen. I am not a really religious person, my parents never took me to church, etc. But I find his sermons to be easy to follow and more related to every day life then some of the other TV Preachers. I can't stand to watch most of them for more than 2 minutes at a time. I'm glad he's out there, to bring some religion into my life when I would normally not have it. I enjoy learning things when they are given on a level a common person can understand, and especially since he's not all "You WILL Burn in Hell if you don't send me money" ...lol

I don't really like religion and I hate televangelists, but I love Joel Osteen. I even bought his book. He makes nonbelievers think that maybe we can believe and that all the stuff in the bible pertains to everyday life... this is coming from an agnostic.

Latest scuttlebut has it that Joel Osteen is the illegitimate son of Pat Robertson.

I think he's probably pretty happy with the amount of money he brings in, i mean what does he lack? If he was ugly i bet he wouldn't be preaching so positively and have that many followers.

I agree...he preaches a soft message, explains his church of 20,000 people. Shows how many seek validation through church and how few seek the true will of G-d.

I agree with you. A pastor who smiles all of the time scares me. Whatever happened to trials and tribulations? Does he not go through it? All those smiles reminds me of what Jesus said, "beware of wolves in sheep's clothing".
