No. there would be fewer birth defects if the DNA matched right every time, but there's always a mutation of some form or another. That's the reason that not all women look exactly like Rosie O'Donnel (example). It's mutation that causes difference in every single person.

Are there fewer merchandise defects because of warranties?
Birth defects are caused by genetic mutation - even some features we consider normal are genetic mutations (such as eye shape and color, facial construction, hair color, skin tone, height). It's just that some mutations are harmful to the person's health, and some mutations are considered ugly. But who decides what beauty is?

Jhn 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you
Jhn 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.

That's all the "warranty" (Guarantee) I need.

I'm deeply offended by your insensitive question and by the 1st response. you need to look at your life and where you are headed. you may have a family member or child one day with a birth defect. mature & grow up.
