The stores sell halloween stuff, and they mention Thanksgiving(barely) and then they just go straight to Christmas. It was too soon I think. Macy's may be ready, but Jesus isn't.

Further more, are you annoyed by the term "holiday." I know that America is trying to be politically correct, but this is driving me crazy. If you love Hanukkah, then say, "Happy Hanukkah." If you love Kwanza, say "Happy Kwanza." And if you love Christmas, then say, "Merry Christmas!"

The secular world has stripped down Christmas to red and green basically. It has no meaning any more if you aren't religious. You can't please everybody, so please somebody. That's just my opinion anyway.

Everybody was told by their parents at a certain age that Santa wasn't real, and so I know and many others know that he is not. But what and who even started the Santa rumor then? Was there ever a Santa, and then perhaps he died and no one else took over? I know that no man could go around the world like that so obviously, the parents do indeed help. But, I know one day one person wasn't like on Jesus's birthday, I will deliver gifts to everyone! Where did and how did this idea originate? Thanks!

He and his wife are contstantly hiding behind there net curtains and staring at me and my house mate when we leave / enter my house, wash the car, even sunbathe in the garden.
I have caught his wife leaning over the fence trying to look into my house and he has even pretended to mow his lawn (it was not plugged in) when I held a barbacue.
We both work long hours and have found that he is parking his car in between both houses so I cannot park my car unless it is away from the house or blocking my drive which creates problems for my house mate. Please note he has a drive and only one car.
It started when he complained about my alarm clock going off at 7am. I was not rude but told him I needed it to go off at that time for work, its genreal household noise and that there was nothing I could do. I really hate this bloke and would love to punch the old B'stard but I know he would involve the Police to his satisfaction. Anyone got any ideas on how to sort this old sod out?

I was just reading a yahoo news article about how many states have laws against the sale of beer, wine etc on the sabbath which happens to be New Years Eve this year.

I was thinking about some other laws that would be good :

1. No swimming in honor of Poseidon.
2. No Tanning in honor of Ra, the sun god.

We are having a condo party here in the building on Thursday at 5.30 pm almost everyone who lives in the building is Indian or Black and married with young children. The few who are not are old and windowed etc. I have a few friends in the building but I do not want to be associated with them when I come through the door to the party as people will think something is going on between us. How does a single woman who bought a condo in a multicultural area survive in these situations. The dinner party is buffet and non-alcoholic drinks. The party is put on by the condo Bd of Directors and the property mgt company and is a first for the building. We have had so much difficulty with our previous Condo Pres that to show things have settled down they are having a small Xmas dinner in the party room of the building. I need to have a few survivial tips please.

What are things that non-Christians do that bring YOU harm/discomfort and what are a few ways that we can help the two groups get along easier?

The only thing that bothers me is when non-Christians brutally attack the Christian faith when they know I am standing right there feeling very hurt.I don't mind a few mild jokes here and there but after awhile they begin to get personal....
