The stores sell halloween stuff, and they mention Thanksgiving(barely) and then they just go straight to Christmas. It was too soon I think. Macy's may be ready, but Jesus isn't.

Further more, are you annoyed by the term "holiday." I know that America is trying to be politically correct, but this is driving me crazy. If you love Hanukkah, then say, "Happy Hanukkah." If you love Kwanza, say "Happy Kwanza." And if you love Christmas, then say, "Merry Christmas!"

The secular world has stripped down Christmas to red and green basically. It has no meaning any more if you aren't religious. You can't please everybody, so please somebody. That's just my opinion anyway.

Personally, I think we should say Merry Christmas if we want to. I am sorry if this offends people from other countries that have received amnesty here in our country. The hell with those people. They need to get accustomed to our ways in the USA.
Yes, I think that people should celebrate Thanksgiving and it irritates me to see people decorating for Christmas before Thanks giving. It is ridiculous.
As for Christmas I think Jesus is the reason for the season more than Santa Claus...Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night...

I agree, the propaganda should be free, not commercialized :)

Actually, "Happy Holidays" is a great greeting- it covers Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hannukah, New years No matter which you celebrate, it's covered- just like "Seasons Greetings" on Hallmark cards. It's certainly fine for major department stores who don't want to offend any customers by wishing them a happy something-they-don't-celebrate and the-store-should-know-better, lawsuit, fire the clerk yada yada yada...

Play that old Bing Crosby song!!!

It's doesn't annoy me because I'm in control of my life.

I let as much of the "propaganda" as I chose into my life and shut out what's too much.

It's like turning the channel when a show comes on I don't like.

It's as simple as that....not a big deal.
