God gave us plenty of evidence that they were not created 8-10 thousand years ago as one of Gods book says (and gods followers try to force on us). God is omniscient, so we won't bore you with our findings because God already knows, right? Is god planning a 2nd edition to the Bible to correct these blatant errors? Was the devil on gods editorial staff?

Does anyone have any "adult" tricks of the trade for getting over public speaking?

Imagining everyone in the audience naked = doesn't work.
Remembering that no one has ever died of stage fright = there's always a first and it'll probably be me.
Making it light / telling jokes = I can't even say what I've rehearsed much less ad lib something funny.
No one knows except you that you are nervous = I blush, I shake, I have a jittery voice - yup everyone can tell; unless they're asleep because I'm so monotonous.

I don't think I qualify for pathological or medical stage fright, but if anyone has any methods that helped them, I would appreciate any advice you can give. Thanks!

Is it true that "Paganism and Wicca are officially classed as cults in the UK, not proper religions"?

When the person in question said "officially", I think she meant legally.

I've read that paganism is a legally recognised religion in the US, but I can't find any reference to whether it is defined as a cult or a religion by the UK government,

I remember hereing a story as a child about The Christmas Tree from a christan prespective.

I can't remember the details but it talked about the Evergreen repercenting the Everlisting Life of Christ and the lights because he is the light of the world, and so on.

Someone has compared knowing there is no God with knowing there is no silver in India. To know for certain there is no silver in India, he says you'd need to look under every rock, look at everyone's dental work, look in every bedroom drawer and in every bank to know there was no silver.


I personally think this argument is fallacious. Why? Well for one, God is said to be omnipresent, that is, everywhere. So to prove God does not exist all you have to do is demonstrate there is one place in the universe (or on Earth) that God isn't. If you can prove that, then God doesn't exist. That might not be easy to do, but it's worth a shot.
