case in point Vicksburg Ms home of the civil is home of the highest gas prices in the state. Well Vicksburg is one of those arrogant places that doesn't believe in following the oil market when the barrel prices falls. For example: local stations for two consecutive months held the price from 2.15 through 2.17 and the gas price didn't drop below that above price. In my own research I discovered that this port was using the northeast average price of gas not the regional. Word of warning pass through Vicksburg and don't buy the gas. Now the this port never went below 2.15. Where the other markets responded and dropped. Now is this this perception of price fixing?
