I was stuck on a navy ship in the Persian Gulf during the holidays several years ago...thats pretty close. same uniforms and gray walls anyhow.

whether you are locked up or just cannot spend time the way you wish to (be that visiting your family or not) your question seems to be more of the dealing with that problem.

as adults, we just do. everyone has the blues once in a while and I suspect that those locked up just have a bad case of the blues until they are released

Almost every year I am behind bars for Christmas. I work at a maximum security penitentiary and my schedule usually makes me work on Christmas. Let me guess, you are a frequent resident?

What are you doing to remember those Serving our Country in the Military Services far, far away on Christmas Day?
