I believe that there are more sadistic people than people who believe in God out there that are going to pay for it at the time of judgement. What do you think?

I think you're a typical stereotype. An amusing one too.

We are rude because of the condescending remarks about how we "can't know any better" and are "going to pay for it at the time of judgement". When religious people act like they are better then those of us who do not believe it tends to be pretty irritating causing us to have some rude responses.

I know what you mean...but perhaps its because it's a general assumption that christians will judge someone and force their beliefs down their throat. It happens so often that its assumed...which isnt right either. Also, many people turn from god because of their negative experiences with the church, but again, this isnt always the case. I have found that the atheists who choose to be atheists because thats what they BELIEVE, arent so negative,.

Being falsely accused of sadism on the back of not agreeing with you about something might provoke an angry response, don't you think?

What happened to "Thou shalt not bear false witness" you smug, lying hypocrite?

.................. And how come none of you Christian apologists even noticed the baseless, gratuitous (one MIGHT even say, sadistic) slur in the question? Ask yourselves!

Instead of judging them for being rude, we should instead pray for them. Remember, before you were saved, you were once lost and blind. These people are sad, lonely, afraid, blind, deaf and angry. They are the lost. Be a shepherd to them, with your words and with your actions. That's what Jesus' would have done.

When the pharisees and sadducees (sp) came against Jesus, didn't believe in Him, and insulted Him, he still chose to die for their sins as well as ours.

I think that is so because some Christian people are rude to non-believers. Its rude VS. rude. It doesn't make it any less ruder.

They are angry. They have an emptyness in thier heart which leads to hate. What I dont understand is those who dont believe in God but always bash the ppl who do. I have also noticed those who say be open minded will be the 1st to bash those with faith!

they are rude because they are doing what comes naturally to them, sin! They think that by being loud and nasty they can convince us that they know what they are talking about.
