Sorry to spoil my only child but yes I got him what he wanted for Christmas and then some. You see, I was told I couldn't have children and by a miracle I did. I also was poor when I was growing up so I guesss that all plays into why he gets so much. However, my son isn't a spoiled brat. He is very loving. He is 15 and he works and makes his own money. He is very active in his church and yesterday he rang the bell for salvation army....Merry Christmas to you all....

What would be the point in that? We don't always get what we want in life and they need to learn that.

My kids & I are flying back east for Christmas with my brother. That's their gift from me. It's probably not high on their list, but that's all they're getting.

They want expensive stuff now, so they will have to earn money to buy what they want.

If they asked for two big things (eg over $100, ) , i only get them one. If its little kids stuff I won't get them more than 2 of the same type of thing, eg plastic doll or game set like hot wheels etc.

Yes. Justin Timberlake tickets (girl) and money for car speakers (boy) .. and a few stocking stuffers of course!
