violent crime in your area? I live in Houston and it is mostly blacks and hispanics. There are alot of white sex offenders and arabs, Indians, asians commit very few crimes here. Let's be honest here.

I want to become a Christian but feel overcome by aspects. I feel like I wont be accepted and feel that I can't pray properly. I don't go to church yet because of these feelings. Am I doing something wrong? I am shy and don't feel comfortable approaching a pastor cos I always fear being ridiculed.

I got my boyfriend these REALLY expensive pair of sunglasses. I know he will love them! Its something he was looking for and wants. But I had to put it on my credit card and I want to give them to him but after thinking about it Im affraid I should take them back and just buy what I can afford. What do you guys think? The theater wasn't packed or anything, this lady behind me made a big fuss about it. She cussed me out and I threw my drink at her. Oddly enough I wasn't kicked out - people should mind their own business.

She is a recent lesbian just out of high school and into college and has had a GF for about 8 or 9 months. I am 22 year old and have been out on my own for a few years. She says things like "**** you" in a jovial manner when I ask her questions and sometimes when I just talk being brash. Her last relationship (with a guy) was bad and ended on a bad note. I can't help but wonder if she is aiming her displeasure toward men at me. I don't call her names except when she catches me at bad times with her 'comments.' The strange thing is when I am alone with her GF she doesn't call me names or treat me badly and surprisingly neither does my roommate when it is just us two, it happens only when she is either with her friends and/or her girlfriend. Something her GF doesn't understand either.

Optionally I would like to know why if my guess is wrong.

But my main question is how do I deal with her?

Why do people cuss (use profanity) so freely-especially around elderly people and young children? What happened to public respect? There was a time when you wouldn't dare use profanity around certain people, but now there is no respect for ANYBOBY. I feel this kind of foul language shows a people doesn't respect self or others. Good education or not, heavy use of profanity represents ignorance and low-self esteem. And the user is not representing himself or home rearing with honors. If the person only knew that he or she is speaking condemnation and death to their own life because there is power in what you SAY! So clean up your mouth and think twice-speak slowly with graceful words. Proverbs 18:21

I'm an earlybird and I wake up approximately around 5:00 AM every morning. I typically like to clean my apartment before I start getting ready for work so that I always come back home from work to a clean apartment. I have a habit of vacumming every morning at 5:30 AM and last week my neighbor lady and I got into a quarrel saying I am too noisy in the mornings and that I need to be more respectful. I got angry with her and told her all kinds of mean things as well.... I start work at 7 AM and I usually almost always come back home late, so by the time I come back home I'm usually very tired around 9 PM and fall asleep by that hour. Aren't I right If I want to vacuum since I am in my own dwelling. Could 5:30 AM be too early? How do you feel about this?

Christmas is a Christ centered holiday - if you dont believe in Him or a God at all why do you waste your time with Christmas at all - if you are sure enough that God is not real dont fall to the peer presure of the society and stand strong in your belief and dont celebrate

I am 21, currently a University undergrad studying something completely unrelated to farming- however, I've recently discovered an interest in farming and would like to know if I'd be suited to it as a career.

What would be the best way to find out? I'm a bit worried about just approaching a farm as, at 21 and with no experience of farm life, I might be seen as a bit of a hobbyist rather than someone who sees it as a genuine career option?

What is my best option, in your opinoin? I'd love to work my way up to having my own smallholding but am unsure how to go about it- any ideas?

i mean how can they feel anything about anybody, they seem to live without guilt or any feelings towards people. They dont seem to care what they are doing to a person as long as they get some sort of sick enjoyment. I especially dont understand how they can bully someone who hasnt done anything bad to them or their friends. I mean do they go home feeling happy and content that they've ruined another persons life i just dont understand how they can do it. I feel guilty if I accidently insult somebody I obsess over it for ages.
