violent crime in your area? I live in Houston and it is mostly blacks and hispanics. There are alot of white sex offenders and arabs, Indians, asians commit very few crimes here. Let's be honest here.

I live in Kansas, though my town is relatively small, the one who commit the most crime are blacks and Hispanics, with very few White's. My town just arrested 4 Blacks for shoplifting(about 1500 in electronics), a Hispanic for rape and burglary, and White's get arrested for selling meth and pedophilia( not exactlly in that order). BUT not a single race does the most crime.

This is all pretty...well relative. Violent crimes are defined as assault, rape, armed robbery, and, of course, murder. If you live in a urban area, blacks commit more violent crimes because there are more blacks in that area. It's not really that hard to understand. Similarly, if you live in a suburban area, whites will make up the most of violent offenders in those areas. If there's an area inhabited by mostly hispanics, guess what...Hispanics will make up the majority of offenders there! Pretty cool, huh?

I live in Oshkosh, WI and majority of the crimes here are committed by whites and Asians. I moved here 28 yrs ago and there was only one black family. Now there is about 400 black families. I rarely see on the local news about a black committing a crime. It's whites and Asians. More Asians, hispanics and blacks are moving into the area from Chicago and Milwaukee. Green Bay is mostly black now and there is a lot of crimes in Green Bay committed by blacks.

My own personal opinion about crimes and race is that many criminals are never caught, so we don't actually know what type of people or race is committing the most crimes. I don't see crime as a race issue. Crimes are committed by people that are addicts, been abused, have low self-esteem, undereducated, etc. If we took better care of our children, they won't grow up committing crimes. Bad behaviors always start at home during their childhood. We have to love and protect the children so they can stop the cycle and be loving and productive adults. Don't you agree?

Black, Hispanic and Italian-American are the three main groups here in Southern Connecticut, and all three have high crime rates. My guess is because they're the largest groups, though. The larger the percentage of any given group, the more the statistics would be skewed.

I live in a mostly Hispanic neighborhood in NYC so Hispanics commit the most crime around here. I don't know how it is for the rest of the city though.

I live in Rochester, New York (one of the highest homicide per capita) and African Americans comprise the majority of crimes... However, on an interesting note, there is a section of town where wealthy, white teenagers are known for most of the criminal acts in that area. Probably just juvenile mischief.

Well i don't live in USA ,I live in Kuwait(but i'm sudanese)and thank god that there are no violent crimes in my neighbourhood or lets say in the area i live.Speakin 'bout races,most of them are arabs.

i live in a little town called Vermilion located in ohio... we have all white people except for maybe 4 or 5 black people in our whole school district. thes blacks would all be part of the same family... so in our small town we have little crime, allw hites ,a dn one black fmaily... sad- i know.
