It is written that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.

There were spotless lamb sacrifices. Also first fruit sacifices that was to be the best of fruits or firstling of the animals.

Around 2000 yrs ago, Jesus is the Lamb of God, forever a High Priest for us since He shed His Own blood to atone for our sins.

Maybe I'm wrong with the next assumption, but I was wondering this.

Many times I have read about the term "moderate Muslim" on this forum. I've always found this a very insulting choice of words. It assumes that the average Muslim is not moderate, that the average Muslim is the "extremist Muslim".

In every group there are a few nutcases who give the group a bad name, but I never hear there are 'moderate atheists', or 'moderate Christians'. Which means the person that uses words like 'moderate Muslim' is assuming that a normal Muslim is not a moderate one.

Am I being too political correct here, or do you also take offense in this choice of words?

I don't believe in hell, but many people have told me this is where I will end up. Do you take joy in the thought that the "wicked" will be sent to hell, at least according to your religion? Just curious.

Ok. I am attracted to women and in my future I plan on having a perminate female partner. I am not attracted to me in any way and I have never had a relationship with a man. The problem is that I want to have sex with a guy just to see how it is. No attachment, I just wanted to try a one time thing. I was wondering if this would make me bi. I asked a question about what are the views of the church on Christians who fornicate and christians who are homosexuals? Which one is bigger? I got lots of replies, one girl replied a sin is a sin. There is no big or small. if a little kid steals a cookie at the age of 2 he is still punished the same way as someone like hitlar who killed thousands mabye millions...we are all born with sin..we need Jesus blood to cover our sin so that we arn't seperated from God. Do you really believe that? A child is innocent. You cant punish him like Hitler. Thats wrong on so many levels.

I was a Christian for many years. I always had problems with the idea that non-believers would go to you-know-where and with the trinity. I had problems with the treatment of women. According to Paul, we are to obey our husbands, accept that we are weaker, that men are at our head, and that we have no authority to teach men. I felt that women are to sit quietly and to serve men while being pretty little objects for them to love.

I've always felt more Jewish. I believe and will always believe in one God. I treasure the stories of the OT.

However, I'm against an official conversion. If I believe in the faith, why can't I just be Jewish? What makes me less Jewish than the guy with the Jewish mother who doesn't believe? Can't I observe the faith without an official conversion process? Would I ever be welcome in a reform temple if I don't convert? Why do we see Jewish as something a person is instead of something they believe?

Fellow Christians, we all know people who have asked Christ into their heart, but yet continue to sin. For that reason, take a look at Ephesians 5:5-6 and answer this question. The verse says that a person has no inheritance with Christ and God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.

So, how can a "saved" person who falls into that sin still go to heaven?

5For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.[a] 6Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
