Not only can he do it, but they have done it many times. Melchizedek was God the Father (see Hebrews 7:3 description), and the Lord of Genesis-Malachi was Jesus.

Sure, He walked with those 2 men from Arimethea, and they couldn't tell who He was until after He was gone - that's a pretty good example of Jesus walking the earth incognito.

If you are 'into this kind of stuff'.... the Ancient Deities appeared all the time in the guise of simple people.

Sometimes to 'test' their followers, sometimes to blend in and see whats up, sometimes to chase that cute little maiden around the olive branches in the afternoon.

Jesus, or at least the spirit of Jesus, is alive and well in all of his followers (o.k. perhaps not all - but it should be all).

Blessed Mother Theresa of Calcuta once said (and I am sure she was quoting someone) that sometimes the only Jesus that people will see is the Jesus in you and in me. (Like I said, I think she was quoting someone, possibly St. Francis, but I am not sure.)

they do say that he will come back.. we just don't know when and how. that would be scary and cool at the same time! who knows though

however, i do think that he is R.I.P and probably doesn't even want to come back
