I saw someone say that it is a violent cartoon????? So many cartoons show violence...usually its in a goofy form. Cartoons are supposed to be goofy. I mean what are you going to do? Shut your children off from everything that seems remotely violent or offensive so that they grow up so sheltered that they freak out when they hit adulthood? Come on give me a break people. Its not an evil cartoon...come on now. I think that people like you try to make everything look evil and you end up obsessing so much over it that your children become sheltered from everything and never experience life. First cartoons...what next? Let your kids be kids.
By the way...I do not find spongebob the least bit evil or offensive. Its a great show for children. Thats why its been so sucessful. Im sure that there are far worse things that your children have seen on tv. I am also sure that the producers of these shows have much better things to do with their time than to write in evil messages into their cartoons to make all of your kids evil....seriously....its bad parenting that makes bad children. Not cartoons.

I'm watching Sponge Bob right now :]
If I had a kid, this is the only cartoon I'd let him watch, just because it's the only kiddy cartoon that doesn't drive me insane. Sponge Bob and Patrick are so adorable.

Yes it is. With time they are hoping to make all our children wear three pairs of underpants. Having a beach underwater is an affront to Gods creative efforts by saying He got it wrong by putting beaches on top. Finally someone woke up to the conspiracy.

I don't know if it's evil, but I think kids should not watch that show. Sometimes it show inappropriate things, like violence. Put on Dora instead, well at least Dora is more safe than Spongbob.
