The soldiers exist.
Jesus doesn't.

Therefore, the soldiers are more important.

I will tell you the answer in short~

Jesus never took life of others like soldiers.

Jesus never wanted anything in return except kindness and love for each other.

Jesus died for peoples sins, and to give them eternal life, while soldiers died for their freedom here on earth. There's difference of land and sky between those purposes.(as said by Lady Christmas)

Thats why people respect soldiers but consider Jesus as their lord.

definetely soldiers are better than those who remain silent when needed ,secondaly they are paid .Jesus might have solved the problem of two countries with the help of nonviolance.that is the quality of God.Nonviolance is the most difficult path to solve the problem. people opt easy path. fighting with the guns is easy than nonviolance.peace can not brought through wars.overall soldier is also killing someone.he does not has the right to kill anybody made by God. so wars are not good. it envolves the ego between two countries. it also involves the ego between the soldiers which is filled for the nation. but to bring peace in the whole world wars are not suitable .the work is same but there is difference in the intellect between the two.God opt the most difficult path to solve problem and he does not think that he belongs to India only he also belongs to the whole world in fact he is the son of God.
i think now it should be clear to you.

The soldiers are great, but they are not equivalent to Jesus Christ.

Yes, soldiers gave/give the "ultimate sacrifice" in that they give their life for others.

However, it is NOT equivalent to Jesus Christ. He, the sinless Son of God, bore OUR sins in His Body on the Cross. He, the eternal and sinless Son of God, came to Earth for our redemption.

Soldiers give their lives that we may have life of months or years, perhaps even a hundred years. Jesus gives us Eternal Life.

Jesus Christ is not GOD. He has very clearly called himself the son of GOD.
For us, Jesus is a representative of GOD, and has come to deliver us on behalf of GOD. He is like a GURU. So, just like the king is responsible for the sins of the citizens, since he is the head of them. Similarly, the Guru takes the responsibility of the sins of his diciples. In that senese Jesus took the pain for the sins committed by people in general. But he did mention that "Sin No more".
Soldires are doing their duties... though this is a respectable work, but still it is a duty for the government.
Jesus was not paid for what he did...

No one is better than another. We are all the children of the Divine. But I do have more respect for the brave members of the Armed Forces for defending our rights. Freedom isn't free and the price is eternal vigilance.

Bright Blessings to those brave men and women and Bright Blessings to all )O(

Our soldiers give up their lives for our freedom; Christ gave up His life for our souls.

I wasn't just that Jesus gave His life for us. He lived a perfect, sinless life, then gave THAT for us. That was the only kind of sacrifice God would accept.

That being said, everyday I grow more and more grateful to the men and women who have given their lives to keep America free. May their names never be forgotten.

No sacrifice of man can be compared to the sacrifice of Christ. Man acts by the order of man; Christ acts by the order of God.
Things come from God are eternal truth; things come from man are eternal falsity. This is the essence of salvation from the Messengers of the One True God. In order to understand this truth you need to read the Holy Books, which set the criteria for all values.

I am christian so I'll tell you why.By the Bible,it is sayd that before Jesus Christ died for us,all souls went to hell. But when Jesus Christ died he went to the gates of hell and opened them to all good souls, even soldiers who die on the battlefront. So,Jesus died for the piece of our souls and the soldiers die for piece of the country they die for...Get it??!
