hey i am a single girl..just got out of a shitty relationship with a man i barley even knew and it was totally based off of sex....i don't want to be single...but i don't want to date for sex...but i don't want to take it too slow....(I made a move the 1st night..total stranger..oops) If i get involved in another relationship i want it to be because that person truly likes me for who i am! I want a relationship based off of love this time...someone i can truly love.....I am only 17 but i mean....
i guess patience is a virtue huh...is it wrong to want to be loved and to love n-other?

And the answer is HELLLL NO! I did not enslave you, you were never a slave, your parents were never slaves, your grand parents were never slaves. You have never been to Africa, hence you are NOT african-american, just american. Shanequa, and LeBron, are NOT african names! There are more opportunities for black people nowadays than white people, and STILL, they are way behind the curve. It is not society, the government or anyone but yourselves keeping you down. Read Bill Cosbys comments on blacks.... And again this is for a select few, not All black people. You claim that "You have been here for 400 yrs bc you were dragged from Africa" Just stop making excuses, get educated and better yourself. How come Asian people as a whole have been here for 1-2 generations and they own a store or business, yet some blacks claim they have been here 400yrs and they have nothing but welfare and living in the projects? Again, this is only targeted to black people who have it "out" for white people.

FACT:
In the Bible, Jesus is always described as being THE Son of Mary, not A son of Mary. If Mary had other sons, it would say that Jesus was A son of Mary, but it doesn't.

I have a brother and a sister that we share the same father but different mothers. It isn't unreasonble to believe that Joseph was an old widower with children from a previous marriage.

In that language and culture, the term "brother" was used very loosely and meant a close relative. It did not have to mean that Jesus and His "brothers" had the same Mother.

Also, Jesus said that anyone who does the will of God could be called His brother. So in that sense, the ones called His brother wouldn't even have to be blood relatives of Jesus, they could have been close friends.

Even today in modern western culture, we call people who aren't even blood relatives our "brothers" and "sisters". This is common for a close friend or when speaking about our "brothers and sisters in Christ".

and weddings. I like to read and study the Bible and then I go to a Convenant Church but I am still a Catholic. I need to work on my faith. Today I read in the book of Matthews that the jews asked Jesus to make a miracle in front of them at that moment, and Jesus said (something like this) hyppocrats are you that need to see to believe..........and that made me think of it. As I was not into religion when I was a child, how can I become more serious in my faith?

okay one time i got caught shoplifting...luckily only sears caught us and only added up thier total ($291.840 worth not to mention the other five stores) and got a way with a misdemeanor...hopefully let of with a first offence....my friend wants to continue lifting...is it just me or is she stupid...considering it was MY first offence?

Please feel free to answer my question. I am a black woman, with colombian and indian heritage, who dates mostly spanish, italian and other men than black. I own my own car, home, and I have my m.b.a. I'm in great shape, beautiful, long black hair (not weave). I have chosen to date outside of my race, but I never hear the end of it. At my work I get constant sneers and rude comments from black men, about how I am a sell-out. They even approach me, making comments like "You are a beautiful successful black woman, yet you choose to date outside of your race. Why?, they ask me. When I have gone out with my white or spanish boyfriend's in the past, there is alot of stares, comments, and many black men have tried to fight my ex's. I don't understand what the problem is. These same black men, could be with a white woman, or a spanish woman, yet they want to get upset with me or other successful beautiful black women

My girlfriend gets disrespected all the time because she is satinist, she tells me that they believe in Satan as a god who creates nature. but so many don't believe it because of the name. Why is that? My ex is a pagen and people disrespects her too. Why is that? She was talking so loudly and being so demeaning to him that other patrons were leaving their tables and going elsewhere in the restaurant. I walked up to her and politely asked her if SHE was possibly being inapprpriate. She was incredibly rude to me and I went on to explain I just thought she should know that everyone was staring at her and/or leaving and that she had some nerve berating her employee when she is behaving in such a manner. I know that other minority groups, (Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, and so on) may be offended, but there are more than them. Unless I see a rabbi walking towards me, I won't say merry christmas because i know what he believes, but otherwise, it should be merry christmas.

Even if merry christmas is a religious reference to the birth of Christ, it isn't going to ruin your day. So whats with happy holidays and which do you prefer?
