Nope. I was celibate for nearly 8 years, until I remarried. It's not the big deal one might think it is. After about 9 or 10 months, sex no longer seems as important, and after 18 months or so, you can go on about your life and just live! There are PLENTY of things in life that are more important than sex.

But to those who insist that gay people remain celibate:
What makes you think that gay people have any easier time remaining celibate than straight people?
Doesn't it make sense to promote stable relationships via gay marriage or civil unions than to hold up a standard of behavior most adults say it "almost impossible" to maintain?
