Yes, according to Bible prophecy. Not sure how soon though.
The Bible says that when a seven year treaty is signed between Israel and the Arabs that would start the Tribulation. Do you know how hard everyone is working for that?
The Bible says that there will be many false prophets in the end times. There have been several people claiming to be the Messiah.
The Bible says there will be an increase in famines and earthquakes. The huge tsunami of two years ago was caused by an underwater earthquake. Many of these are happening more and more around the world, not to mention the hurricanes we have increasingly had.
The Bible says that the Bible shall be preached all around the world before the end comes. It is now transported all over by tv, radio, missionaries, etc.
There's much more. Many prophecies have been fulfilled (such as Israel speaking Hebrew again), while some have not. Once they are, the rapture will be soon.
Check out the website below. Remember, those 7 years of Tribulation after the Rapture will be horrible for those following Christ (the ones who found Him after the Rapture). Reach your family and friends while you can!

The world will not end. (Isaiaih 45:17, Ephesians3:21.) The Bible is referring to the "world system of conduct and commerce", indicated by Babylon and the Revived Roman Empire of Daniel 11, Revelation Chapters 17-18.

This world will not end until the prophecie about the 7 year tribulation ends and the 1000 year reign of the Lord Jesus Christ on the earth. Revelation 20: 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Revelation 20: 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

The world will end, but not any time soon. Either way, you needn't concern yourself with it, only worry about living - and living well. Life is about making the most of what you have, and spending it biting nails about when and how the world will end is no way to live it. My advice is that you just have fun. Do what you want and enjoy every minute of it, so that if the world ends tomorrow - you'll die happy :)

Why? Are you afraid of dying? Is your fear of death is that you won't be missed by others. Try to enjoy life while you are still here. Tell your family you love them everyday and treat your peers with respect. Try to make everyday a good day because you never know when it will be "the last day" Just remember that you will remember everything you experienced in life- what would be the purpose of living if you did not.

Only God knows, but based on the signs to the end of the world we still have a ways to go.

It isn't going to end. Why would it end now? Of course anything could happen at any moment, but just because the world ends, doesn't mean you will. Life moves on.

Well global warning seems to be aproaching, I mean it's Dec 18th and it's 10c here in Hamilton Ontario. It's usually -20c with snow everywhere.
Scary stuff, I think we should just take advantage of it and not worry about the end of the world and just let it happen naturally.

Nobody can tell the exact day and hour when the world will end, but studying the signs of the end of time given in the Bible, we can be sure that it won't be long. It can happen any time. Texts like the following ones can tell us where we are actually at the moment:
2 Timothy 3:1-5
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all[a]these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences,[b] and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
But of course many will not believe and scoff or mock us, when actually by doing that, they are fulfilling one of the prophecies:
2 Peter 3:3-7
3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
