NO. There are Bad People. Before we understood psycholgy as well as we do, people needed supernatural explanations for the evil things people can do.
Vampire legend is based, in part, on the true life story of a Romanian king named Vlad the Impaler. He was bloodthristy and mean and it was easy to believe that he drank boold and was an superhuman monster.
Real wolves roamed the forests of Medival Europe, and when a traveller was found mangled by a pack, superstitious people thought that either a "monster" wolf was to blame or that the corpse would rise in the form of a man-wolf.
Mermaids may have just been fanciful tales told by "been there done that" sailors to liven up the tales of their voyages. They migt also have misinterpreted distant sightings certain dolphins or even manatees and sea cows. Its easy to see a half naked woman wherever you look if you haven't seen a real woman in six months or more.
Faeires may simply have arisen from the sightings of St Elmo's fire or ball lightning, which could have danced, faeire-like, in the distance and might have seemed like the lanterns of playful little people.
Considering that no pictures, blood, hair samples or verifiable corpses of any of these fantasy creatures has ever been found, I think its safe to presume that they were as mythical as the Greek or Roman Gods...

There are alot of therories as to where they come from or what exactly they are. The funniest thing I ever heard was that the belief on where mermaids come from is a water mammal called the manatee. I'm sorry how can you get a mermaid from that. Anyways, time to really answer your question.
Yes, they are real. A little bit different then how we know them, but yes they are real. I could tell you alot of things (proofs) however I won't for reasons I won't discuss; but I will give you proof.
Look at ancient times, and look for those stories from around the world. If there is to many simularities then you know there has to be some truth to it don't you.
How can people from around the world see the same things at the same time before they could even travel that far? I.E. fairies, mermaids, vampires, and werewolves as an example. There are many more including my favorite one; dragons. check it out and be amazed.
Some times if you look hard enough into history you cand find hidden things in todays World.

I can't give you an answer on all of these creatures, but i can tell you that yes Faeries exist. There is much research that has been done including interviews with a wide variety of people. I recommend the following book.,,,Fairy Faith in Celtic Countries, W.Y. Evans-Wentz. Citadel Press, 1994. It is the best reference book you can read.
The Faery Path has been a practiced religion for a very long time. There are many styles and beliefs, many of which stem off a Wiccan belief, but are much more broad. I am not talking about Tinkerbell type fairies, but faeries which cover a great deal of shapes and sizes. Look up the Tuatha Dé Danann, they are the gods and goddess who became what we call Faery.
Not every thing is something you can see, sometimes you just have to open your self up to believing and feeling.

1. Vampires: No, not in the storybook or Hollywood sense anyways. There are those on the fringes of society though who choose to be freaks and put on an act by dressing like a vampire and cutting themselves or other willing participants to draw blood and drink but these people are in no way immortal, nor undead, nor sensitive to sunlight, nor do they change their forms as many do in storybooks, they are just weird. Though there is a rare but documented medical condition where some people can be ultra sensitive to bright light, but this does not make them vampires either. 2. Werewolves: Again, the stuff of folklore and Hollywood movies. 3. Fairies: No. 4. Mermaids or Mermen: In the classical sense of half human / half fish, no sorry but there is no way a human can mate with a fish, the species are too different. 5. aliens: Totally believe. Would be foolish to think that out of the countless trillions of stars out there in space, that Earth would contain the only sentient life in the universe. 6. Ghost: Yes, I have seen them, felt them. 7. unicorns: I believe that these could have possibly lived long ago, perhaps around the dawn of mankind since we know there were many strange creatures like saber-tooth tigers and such running around at some point. Long extinct now though and no, they were not magical like in storybooks. 8. ligers: Yes, it's a hybrid between a lion and tiger. Unlike the mermaid scenario of fish people, lions and tigers are both mammals and both in the cat family so mating between the two is possible, just not a very common occurrance. 9. dragons: No, just another creature adorning our art and folkore, or a thing of nightmares. 10. half man half horse: Nope, horse and man may both be mammals but unlike the tiger and lion creating ligers or tigons, the two are not even in the same gene family. 11. Witches: Yes they exist as Wiccans, which you can look up easily by googling. Again, they are not the types you see in movies or scary stories flying around on brooms and always wearing pointy hats casting evil spells turning people into frogs. <>>> The idea of heaven or hell is subjective depending on the religion, or lack thereof, of the person you are asking. Not all religions have heaven and hell but can still believe in ghosts.

I do belive so, vampires atleast. Not that I belive they are like dracula or any thing like that. I belive that perhaps at onetime vampire did have special abilties, but over time I belive vampires lost it. Now adays I belive that perhaps there is still some vampire geans past on. Like the nocturnel habits, and thirst for blood and raw meats, and that uncanny 6th sence (ironicly I just described one of my friends)

They only exist in stories and fairy tales. There is no proof that werewolf's, mermaids, fairies, or vampires ever existed.

Honey, Anyone can become anything if they persue it long and hard enough. The people that go around killing girls and rapping them. Don't you know that is what they have become. If you go the wrong way in life you just keep getting over into darkness more and more until you are overtaken by the devil himself. We know he hates.

I think there is, but I'm still a kid at heart. I think that if you believe in something hard enough, it doesn't matter if it's true or not, as long as it is to you.
