She doesn't seem so at first, but she litters (intentionally), she leaves her garbage laying all over in stores, etc. and she is a smoker who thinks that her husband not letting her smoke in their apartment is a violation of rights or something. Her parents are devout Christians, her father is a minister. I doubt they raised her to be this way. How do people get like this? Do you know anyone like this? What do you say to them?

I am a college student and I joined a group called SPAG (student performing arts guild). At first it was fun, but it quickly became more work than what it's worth. It was starting to get in the way of my spiritual life (I am very religious). The advisor is a faculty member at the college and has always kind of creeped me out, like I get the feeling he's checking me out at times, but then I figure it's all in my head. Anyway, I resigned from the group, and then I got this e-mail from him:

I encourage you to adhere to your sacred observances. I am aware that Dec. 21st is very important to you. Because of its importance to you I support you in your decision for the Dance this Thursday. This freedom of choice is yours. However, you will let your Advisor know if your decision means missing the Dance completely, partially or not missing the dance at all.

Some people say if I only had all the money I ever needed I would be happy, yet when they find that gold at the end of the rainbow there still not happy what's the problem

People spend millions of dollars in trying to look and stay young and beautiful with the latest trends in beauity still they find no happiness what's the problem?

People spend millions of dollars on psychotherapy and new age treatments to find happiness yet they feel despair and are unahppy why?

What is happiness if not with GOD's complete restoration of the Spirit?

Are you internally happy? or do you just have happy moments?

In need please read! ideas for a mircle!?
i already faced the fact my family wont be having gifts this year. it was a rough year for us and i tried toys for tots n salvation army but i was too late in signing up i didnt know my hubby would be laid off! but anyway what im asking i still want to celebrate , any ideas my kids r ages 18 girl 17 boy 16 girl 14 girl 12 boy and my baby grandson whom is 4 months old, is there anything we can do to make the holidays alittle brighter with no gifts! thank u and serious answers only!! merry christmas n god bless

I am English and live in Vietnam,the family next door and sometimes the one oppisite regularaly beat there children,especialy the girls.I am not talking about a slap,but bruising and sometimes blood.I have asked my Vietnamese freinds is there anyone i can report it to,they say no,this is normal behaviour in Vietnam and i should close my doors and ignore it.I find this hard to do,also if i tackle them while they are beating the child i would probably come off worse.Any ideas please.
