I would say brown. think about adaptation. Generally, away from the equator, is where lighter complexions originate. However once you reach the point where it can be daylight for prolonged periods, the eyes (and face) need to be darker to handle that amount of light, glittering off of the snow and ice. Think about the Northern Natives (Inuits, etc.)?

I have always seen them with blue eyes.

Traditonaly blue, but seeing as they don't exist it dosen't really matter.
