Last Saturday I greeted a lady by bidding her good morning and holding out my gloved hand - I had not time to remove it, since her presence was somewhat a surprise, though I did not wish to seem rude by not engaging in a handshake. Nothing was said at the time, but this morning I recieved a note from the the lady's husband informing me that it was considered by her and himself to be most impertinent that I had not removed my glove prior to offering it. According to him, I should either have refrained from a handshake, or at least made apologies for the glove. Who is correct in this unfortunate turn of events?

Really they are- just open your eyes once in a while. What can be better than teaching children to slit the throats of their non muslim peers and fly planes into buildings? What is more civilized than lopping heads of hostages with a sword? What can be more peaceful than firing rockets, detonating suicide bombs, and shooting the always popular AK 47 ? What can be more of a thrill than burning the flags of other countries? Going to Chuckie E Cheeses?

Of course there is also the occasional suppression of free speech, when we "infidels" are lucky enough to notice that tires will be burned, cars overturned, and infidel nuns and other religious leaders shot in the back by jihad gangs. How about Jihad itself? What can be more holy than pillaging, shooting, and exploding, in the name of God? But Islam is the true peaceful religion, dont forget and they will have you on your knees bowing to mohammed, or they will have your head (which they prefer more, for certain dishes and soups).

i got a card from this mexican guy that works with me . i don't know if its a christmas card or something else. because there is babies on the front of it. ok here it goes. on the front it says. Because there's a book about it? Thousands of books about alien presence on earth have been written, do we necessarily think it's absolute truth?

If I had absolute "faith" that I can't under any circumstances walk under a ladder, even if there are no evidence of anything happening to me if I did, does it make it true that the ladder is bad luck?

Is it because of the number of people that believe in it ("so many people can't possibly be wrong!!"? A big number of people staunchly believing in something that has no scientific data or even probability doesn't necessarely make it true or right, otherwise people were right to burn the "Witches of Salem" or even something like the Holocaust is right by the sheer number of people that believed that Jews were the devil.....

Or will you preform some kind of ceremony against their will as a baby and force them into your beliefs? 75% of religious people get their religion from their parents, will you be part of the problem? Or teach your children about the historys and principles of all religion and let them choose their own, or non at all if that is what is in their hearts.

I am in no way against people choosing an organized religion, but I do think it is wrong to force your religion on your children before they have aquired the reasoning capability to judge for themselves.

I'm a TS woman. I don't see much in common among the three groups, and it doesn't even seem we like each other that much. The lesbian women I know don't seem to care about gay guys, transmen (FTMs) don't feel they are treated well by lesbians, MTFs try to stay as away as possible from gay guys and gays and lesbians don't even try to understand trans people.
