Well Hercules is the name that the Romans took from the Greek name which was Heracles (HAIR-ack-Kleez) Which if I'm not mistaken the movie took place in Greece so they were suposed to say Heracles in that movie. Hera was not his origional Mother. In fact she attempted to kill him. She was not near as weepy and kind as in the movie. The titans weren't near as big as they were portrayed either. They were totally normal except their creepazoid powers which they got from their father Uranus "Heaven" and mother Gaia "Earth" The youngest was Zeus' father Cronus. Philoctetes is not a Satyr! He was a very trusted and human! friend of Heracles! Phil was like a son to him. His lover/mistress (not wife, mistress) was not named Meg. Her name was Acca Larentia. He won her in a game of Dice. In another Roman legend Hercules married her off to the shepherd Faustulus, who saved the lives of the twins Romulus and Remus after they had been thrown into the Tiber. That's about as much as I know. Hope This Helps.

It's a Disney movie, so obviously they left out a hell of a lot. But here's a start. Specifically Hades. Hades wasn't considered an evil guy. Hades was actually a good guy, relatively speaking. Apart from kidnapping Persephone, which is another story, he was pretty inocuous as far as gods go. Although James Woods did do a pretty good job. His sidekicks, Fear and Panic were actually the offspring of Ares, who was hated and loathed. Other things you might want to note. Hercules wasn't Hera's son. Zeus raped a mortal woman, or more accurately tricked her into believing he was her husband. As a result Hera HATED Hercules and it was she who sent the serpents to Hercules crib. Hades didn't really give a poop one way or the other about Hercules. Hades had actually done some nice things for mortals, like Orpheus who lost his lover, Hades let him take her back from the underworld. Hera also sent a madness upon Hercules which resulted in Hercules killing his wife Megara and their three children, which was why he had to complete his twelve labours. Hades was also the name of the underworld, not just the name of the god. The afterlife for most Greeks was the Elysian fields, which was literally, as it sounds a big expanse of fields, kind of like the final scenes of gladiator. It wasn't really at all like the Disney movie, which was more akin to Dante's circles of hell than any Greek concept. The only real interaction Hercules had with Hades in the Greek myth was when he defeated his dog Cerberus, the three headed guard dog to the underworld, which Hades actually had to give his permission for. Hope this helps, but if in doubt Wiki Hades and Hercules, it's pretty straightforward.

Hercules (Herakles) is Ancient Greek, not Roman. And the Disney movie was sterilized to be appropriate for children. Zeus slept with Hercules's mother (a mortal woman), and the child was named after Hera--his wife. Naturally, she was a bit angry about this and spent a great deal of time trying to kill him and generally make his life miserable. Because of Hera, Hercules killed his wife and children. There's a lot more to it than that, but you'll need to read the materials your teacher gave you and watch the movie yourself in order write a decent paper, which can only be done if you make an effort to understand the material yourself.

First off, um Hercules is not Roman its greek. And second one major contradictory is that you can not become a God- you can die and be placed in another field but you can't become a god if you are a mortaly. Other then that the names of the people.

Hades never really tried to kill Hercules, Hercules didn't beat up a centaur, he also didn't do all those task for fame, and Hercules was probably very hairy, probably not a red-head.
