Get her some perfume that smells nice...Or how about a gift certificate to her favorite store...Or you can get her Jewelry if she likes Jewelry...I remember getting my mom a heart shape pendant with a picture of my daughter (Her Granddaughter) on the inside of the pendant.

Here's some ideas:
Creative: buy her a relly stylish clear vace, sprinkle fake snow in it, put like 2-5 gift certificates to different places in there and then put Christmas confetti over it. Wrap or just give it to her.
Quick- Gift certificate to favorite store, spa, or restraunt
Sweet: Create her like a gift basket. A nice box of chocolates, gift certificate, other cute/cool items of your choice. (bottle of wine).

it really depends on your moms personality or age but if she likes pictures, you could get her a digital photo frame that changes its picture every 5 or ten seconds. its really cute
