I've noticed guys have a tendency to go for desperate, dumb blonde types. Why is this? What about us normal dressing smart girls? Guys opinions would really help here.

You gotta understand that these men don't actually respect these women. They just think about "using" them, (if you will) and don't want to actually settle down with them. In the end they want a nice woman. I just want to clear the air and say that not all men are like that... some of them are gay. No, I'm just playing around. Don't worry about it, you'll find Mr. Right someday.

That is because most guys are only trying to get sex. They are of the opinion that slutty dumb blondes "PUT OUT" where as smart girls that dress nice are "too much work" just be patient and you'll find a guy that is looking for a decent girl not a "piece of tail"

This answer is obvious. If I see a girl who acts "loose" you know, kind of slutty clothes, proactive cleavage, fairly attractive, and acts like a total dumb@ss, you know very well that "most" guys will try to get with her. Why? Because "most" guys would think that she is easy..... And that she's a party girl. On the other hand, a girl who dresses "smart", who is actually sophisticated, and wants to go on 5 to 6 dates before sex, is a "harder lay." If you're girl number two, the chances are you're going to be happier in life because you actually set a standard where the party girl has become the town whore. But sometimes girls who act like the party girl stereotype are actually educated women, who just like tempting/messing with guys brain (particular guys "other" brain....) Looks are deceiving... Anyway, I'm rambling, if you want an easy lay go with girl number one, and if you want to play hard to get, go with girl number two. That is what I think.

My outfit of choice to go out in is a turtleneck with a jacket and jeans....I also bring my brain. I have yet to go out and NOT attract male attention, from bikers to bankers...however, I CHOOSE who I respond to. Perhaps you are aiming too low? There are all sorts of nice guys from ALL walks of life, somehow I get the feeling you are wishing to attract the vain, pretty boy, egomaniac type...they aren't usually worth the bother. Look around a bit more, broaden the scope of what you are looking for, but raise your standards. Your dream guy could be right in front of you and you aren't noticing because you are focused on the idiots chasing after the hoochies. Remember to bring along your best accessory- your SMILE- and use it generously. Remember, you don't have to DATE the people you will initially attract, but it never hurts to make new friends and....hey, they have friends and those friends have friends and...you get the picture?
Oh...and the reason the guy's go after those kind of girls? Because they are there and well, gosh, it takes no effort to get one.

Instead, they sometimes go for the apples near the ground because they are easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them; in reality, they are amazing. Younger, more immature guys tend to go for the more desperate girls who aren't very smart, simply because these girls are easier to get to know and less intimidating. They don't have to "chase" them much, and therefore, the chance of rejection is less.
As guys get older and become more immature, they become more confident, and tend to go more for the smarter, more classy, less desperate girl than they did prior, when they were more immature.

Biologically, a guy is just interested in spreading his seed. He will usually go for the ones that act most like they'll make it easy for him.
