I left some walnuts out for the local squirrels. I saw one come by this morning and eat one. I was so happy! but, then it started staring at me, for like 3 minutes. I guess it spotted me, but then it began doing it and snapping its fingers. should I be scared?

I was on my parents deck eating dinner with them and my wife and family. Squirrels were above us and dropped a couple of nuts on the other side of the deck. I yelled up at them to cut it out (maybe 50 feet up from us). No more dropping nuts.
A few seconds later, an acorn dropped straight into my drinking glass. No fooling!
Squirrels are mischievous little buggers. Be careful with them...

YES! Once my dad sealed up a squirrels nest near our roof, and for days they sat out on our fence in large numbers,just looking at our house, like they were plotting. I'm not joking either, it was kinda freaky.

yes...i think it may have been gang signs...you should contact your local animal authorities at once..hurry before its too late...someone needs to nail him before he starts serial snapping. lol
