When making apple cinnamon ornaments (near equal parts cinnamon to applesauce) have you ever added scented oils to increase the scent? Are the ornaments lightly scented, or nicely scented enough to scent a room. I haven't made these since I was a kid, and can't remember!

My wife ran across a post on craigslist the 3rd week of Nov. A single mom in need 4 teen kids, 2 of her sisters teen kids and their 2 babies. We were told sister was in the hospital. And her kids had always been with their father who dumped them, and she wanted them to have a good christmas. She said she was on SSI. & so no money. She wanted a bike for her oldest so she could go between school/work. Then a little while ago we heard the little money she had went to her dad's hip operation. And after we told her we were buying some PS2 games for her sons ps2 we were told a week later ps2 is broken. And now one of her daughters wants a puppy because step mom got rid of theirs. And now sister is out of the hospital went to Indiana to be with their other dad (now the one w/the hip is step dad) who is in serious condition due to motorcycle accident. So where did the $ for that come from. Then she wanted us to go get a free dog as no money for gas that someone on craigs is giving away

Homosexuality has been around for centuries. In the Shakespearian times, when they would have those play acts, little boys would play role of a female. So in todays standard that not only makes them homosexual. So why still in todays world are people still bigots about it? It's not like baggy pants and gold teeth. Homosexuality is going to be around forever, as it already has been.

..only to discover there is no 'Heaven' when you die, would it have been a waste of time and would you regret all the things you missed out on and stopped yourself from doing because you were in fear of 'sinning'. We all may end up in hell regardless of how good we have been.

Everyone ask if you had one wish what would it be? I always say I wish I had at least three wishes, so I am asking if you had three wishes for Christmas what would they be? Ummm...It doesn't sound so great to me...

Let's say you like cars. Now think of that ultra-fast, ultra-expensive, exotic luxury car (take your pick...) and think how cool it would be if you owned it. Let's say you like houses. Think of that perfect ultra-modern, posh, 10 bazzillion dollar mansion in the location of your choice. How nice would that be?

Now pretend you are Bill Gates (or Oprah...or anyone with money). You can now buy that house or that car whenever you want. Now it's not as exciting, is it?

Isn't heaven like that? If you get anything you want (I only used material things as an example), doesn't everything get devalued. Isn't the challenge of working for something make it more valuable in the long run? I'm having a hard time with understanding what's so great about a perfect heaven. It just sounds boring and dull. That's all. I keep getting told how nice it is, but I keep thinking, "BORING!!" Nice is "nice" sometimes, but boring all of the time.

I know there is a GOD. But I don't believe in preaching to others to try and change their beliefs. So before anyone insults this know that I am simply asking a question.
How many people have had death experiences,....seen the light,....heard his voice? I have and I don't understand why most people say that everything has a scientific explaination and if it doesn't it doesn't exist?
