When making apple cinnamon ornaments (near equal parts cinnamon to applesauce) have you ever added scented oils to increase the scent? Are the ornaments lightly scented, or nicely scented enough to scent a room. I haven't made these since I was a kid, and can't remember!

also, what about baking them? I figure a low oven (about 200) should do it...I'm just impatient and don't want to wait to decorate!

Yes...I've used oils and it is usually enough to nicely sent the room they are in. About 4-6 drops is enough for a mild scent. Just add more if you'd like a stronger more intense apple cinnamon scent. Good luck!

Oh, as they dry, they will have more than enough scent to carry throughout the house, and it will last for years.
