I know there is a GOD. But I don't believe in preaching to others to try and change their beliefs. So before anyone insults this know that I am simply asking a question.
How many people have had death experiences,....seen the light,....heard his voice? I have and I don't understand why most people say that everything has a scientific explaination and if it doesn't it doesn't exist?

PAngel yes it is remarkable. The 3 near death experiences I had were when I was 7 or 8, 15,16 All were different but very real. I have seen some very remarkable things not during NDE's also. Take for instance the next door neighbor has a daughter that has brain cancer and is in remission. One day I say this lady walking in their house dressed in scrubs. Later that afternoon the little girl was life flighted due to shunt in her head not draining and building up fluid. I talked to her mother about what I had seen earlier that day. And she said that there was no woman at her house that day. This little girl also talks about seeing angels all of the time. She has almost died, been in coma, brain surgeries, etc. She talks to me about them often.

bess,....it is good that your friend talks about it. It took me a long time to talk about it openly as there is so much criticism as you can see. :)

Norskey,....I am fully aware of what you are saying. I just was referring to it because of NDE's. But I know all about losing family members and being in the dark.

Rev,.... I am sorry that you feel that everything has to have concrete evidence to be true. I KNOW what I have seen and I KNOW what I have heard I guess that is all the evidence I need.

i have read the cases by Dr Raymond Moody
i have studied many cases personally of NDEs
and the ones from children are just amazing
this for me is the best evidence of survival of death ever
how can children know people and places they have never met or been to ?
how can someone in an operating theatre know what people are talking about in another part of the hospital ?
these are just a few things that leave me in no doubt that it is more than just lack of oxygen to the brain

Yes, I have seen the Light many times. To see the Light does not only mean our own death. Every human being has trials and highs. When I have endured many trials, it is as tho., I sink into the deep dark valley of trial. It takes much endurance and a strong mind to be able to endure many things that happen, like a childs death, for one example. So when a family looses a loved one, the parents or family members sink into a deep dark valley of sadness. Another example is when someone is so depressed that he/she thinks of suicide. In that case this depressed person sinks to the lowest point in his/her life on earth. There is no light in the Valleys, until a person realize's we can not stay in the darkness of our trials. If we just look up, and out of the dark Valley, there is a light. We need to move on and not stay in darkness. So I aimed for the light even if it only meant a small prayer or thinking that the darkness is not for me. I need to move on and that is what we mean by seeing the Light. So seeing the Light is not meant for only the light when we die. It also means when we are down hearted and everything seems hopeless. You have a good question and I hope I have helped you understand by what we mean when we say, I live for the Light. Not darkness .

Ow, ow, ow. Get the damn flashlight out of my eyes.
I've had a near death experience, but I didn't see any light. It was dark, and cold, and I had the sensation of space, like being a cave. There was a godawful buzzing sound and I was scared.
Then I woke up on an ER table with about twenty million people staring at me and poking me with things. Not a positive experience, let me tell you.

I have seen the light that gives life. I have not experienced death, thou I am gaining knowledge of the Lord of Death and seek to overcome, that I may have the true life and never taste of death. Seek the knowledge, the secrets of old. Hear not the voice of the deceiver, ask for guidance for the knowledge of the light.

I have not but my neighbor had horrible motor cycle accident and He told after He was out of coma that Jesus came to him and told Him it would be OK. It really changed Him. He was nice enough before. Cuban Catholic but He was so joyful after his bike wreck and he could barely walk and must have hurt. He broke like 12 bones.
Don't worry what sceptics say they have not had your experience and may change their minds if they did.

I haven't had the death experience but I see the light quite often in meditation, I don't know if that is scientific or not, but it is peaceful

know in my heart GOD is real. however, am not interested in debating the subject with those who do not believe because they have the free will to believe or not as they want to. as long as each one does not violate the free will of another or as long as the laws rules and mores of the Country one resides in then one can believe what one desires.

You don't know there is a god. You only believe there is a god. Knowing requires fact and you cannot present any facts. Just a belief system.
