IS this a failing of GOd? how can a perfect god not make it perfectly clear that he exists to everyone perfectly? without fail? And if GOd fails to prove he exists, how can it be called a perfect god?

I am not being hostile, but honestly wondering...If you believe in evolution, where are the "cavemen" type humans? If we came from apes, where is the middle animal that went from them to us? If they died off, why did the types of apes that are around now stick around?

My dad is a retired physician. His new full time job is playing poker (not literally). I'll be "home for Christmas" so I was thinking of buying a poker set - the other part of the present would be that I would let him teach me how to play! What do you think? He usually goes to the casinos etc. and raves about how the game is so challenging etc. and really makes you think... and I tend to be VERY conservative, not drinking (unless it's red wine, for the health benefits), being against gambling etc... What do you think?

Nope, because the sources used for various translations aren't even the same. The oldest Hebrew manuscripts of the OT have one story of Daniel, but the famous Greek Septuaguint has a longer version. If the texts have been so obviously tinkered with over time, then the very components are in debate. The King James version didn't even come out until the 1600s.

I'm would like to think of myself as an intellectual woman, who likes to venture out and meet new people occasionally. However when I try various of lesbian chat rooms, I’m bombarded by either men pretending to be women, or sex crazed women, or spammed by the potential viral websites of nude women. If I don’t have a web cam or willing to share my identity in any form, I’m automatically dismissed. There is no sense of a little self- disclosure anymore or is that just me? I’m looking for serious responses please. I don’t have time for the child like comments. You can grab you easy points somewhere else. If anyone has any real advice, please feel free to share.

can you explain why it says God creates evil?


Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.



This verse is in no way consistant with the context of the verse or the topic. While the words themselves are each translated correctly. They make no sense in contex. The word shalom dose mean peace if the verse wanted to say good it would have used Tov. While the word Ra dose often mean evil it is inconsistant with a section that is talking about physical calamity. It is best translated as disaster, war, or calamity




once again the KJV fails to translate the meaning of what the author was trying to say.

There was a mouse running round my house a while ago. I caught it, took it a half mile away and let it go, no more mouse.
Should we be killing another mammal just because it invades our environment trying to live it's life?
And if we should, does that give another animal, ie. marine life, the right to wipe us out just because we taint its' world with our waste? ie the stuff we put into sewer outlets?

I always seem to get insulted by people at school and it angers me. I dont want to go and tell on people because then im thought of as a "pooseee". I also am just not the type of person that can ignore it. I just cant. Whats a universal remark / statement I can respond with everytime I am told to shut up pointlessly or insulted? Something that might anger the other person or so. Please help. I was thinking of saying "WHAT" everytime they wud say sumten. I just need soemthing that would annoy them and piss them off.
