I'm going to Las Vegas for Christmas!

Finally NO!!
Every year for the last 29 years, I have gone to my mom's, then my dad's, then my grandmother's. And sometimes to my aunt's and mother-in-laws. AAGGHH!!
This year we are staying home!! I now have 2 kids (3 yrs & 3.5 months) who will get to wake up, open their gifts AND play with them instead of traipsing all over the place.
I am going to cook a fabulous turkey feast and everyone is welcome to come and share it.
Sure we'll miss those who don't come but there's been years when they've been away and it's now my turn to start a tradition for my own family. It also gives the older members of my family who have hosted, a chance to relax and enjoy the holiday.
Absolute bliss for the homebody I am!!

For the first time in a VERY LONG TIME ... this Military Retiree, Long Term Single Parent, and FINALLY! an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree is going to do something she has ALWAYS Wanted to do -- which is STAY HOME ALONE in HER HOME on Christmas DAY!

Yes. I'm going to the coast with my parents for Christmas and just spend it with them. I will definitely be missing my brother and his family though.

Yep - to a place with no snow and warm weather for part of the time, then to a place of all snow and mountains, then back hoime again to my comfy home, which may or may not have snow by that time.
