b ecause for some reason it makes us feel better or more thankful for the life we have if we see and realize that there are many people out there worse off than we are.It is not right but it is true.

Because everyones point of view is watered down because we don't know the entire world. Someone wise once said "children fear the dark,and men fear the light" or something like that. When we see suffering we wake up and can not hide. We become more thankful as our own pethetic excuse for taking everything for granted and seeing there was more to the world.

Look most people are back stabbers, they say this so maybe just maybe God will not condemn them, and then forget about it and one day they are at the store and the lady in front of them is using food stamps and then they get pissed by seeing someone poor and say to themselves that son of a beach can work and have a good job like me but no they are just lazy pieces of sh1t, so most of it is all bull

What the hell are you talking about? i don't know anyone who likes to see others suffer..maybe a few nuts out there that do but most normal people don't.

That is not true at all!! I am very thankful because I have a good life, I don't need to look at the proverbial "starving children in china" to fully grasp this.
