Our spirits DO communicate with God the omnipresent thing/being. Every time someone prays.....I wonder how many people who do not believe in God that are losing a loved one to a terminal illness or losing something else they value, turn to God and start bargaining? Probably most people. This "bargain" is a prayer that yes they are communicating with the "omnipresent thing"

Of course our souls are in constant contact with the omnipresent God.
I am an energy healer, and after I have been sending energy to someone (hands on or via distance) I feel everything that person is feeling; and I can tell then exactly what they are feeling and where.
Remote viewers can see distant locations and draw them with 65-80% accuracy.
Once about 15 years ago I was lying on my sofa and watching a baseball game in Chicago (800 miles away) and I saw a cloud on the screen above and behind second base; and I did my deep breathing and visualization to punch a hole in the cloud with lifeforce energy, and a hole formed in about three minutes.
Once about 8 years ago I passed a Reiki attunement via distance to a friend in Texas (about 800 miles away; and the link between us was so good; I could actually see the image he visualized while meditating (a rotating yin/yang symbol.

Mine does ,I pray and talk to God all the time and hear him in my heart and soul guiding me to do right by others.He has answered many a prayer
