Oh my God no! I don't think it does at all.
While i don't believe in preaching in schools. It is elite-ist to think Christians and other religoius people don't think or are not allowed to in their churches. Or worse are not capable of it.
I'm Episcopalian and We think all the time. Some evangelical strains may not encourage it so much, but that is really a stereotype too. Just like it would be to think that there is one particular atheist sentiment. I have a good friend who is atheistic and she assures me there is not. After all if there were one sentiment on atheism that all accepted, just like one faith for all, would that be thinking!
Think about it!

When did the school become the exclusive property of atheists?
I agree with the person who said that he'd keep his peace, he would not wish to be burdened with the atheist anger.
Yeah, it captures the atheist sentiment well, alright...it expresses a grade school level of anger and sarcasm.
Trouble is, they don't realize it.

Well thinking is allowed. You must question everything. That's the basis of scholastism, where they use science to prove God. I think it's a little condenscending. The most brilliant of scientists didnt believe in quantum mechanics in their time, but now it's pretty much common knowledge. If it's not true, then provide a scientific argument/experiment to discredit it.

Why does everything having to do with Atheism condescending and insulting? You know, even if I was thinking about questioning my faith, watching Atheists just on these boards show me that that is a place and a space I'd never want to be in. I love the peace I have; don't want the anger they have.

People don't realize that to actually think, you come to the conclusion there IS a God. But unfortunately post-modern learning is geared to wealth of facts rather than abstract philosophizing. Also, who the heck invented schools? The Catholic Church!

I think it is just the typical rudeness of the atheist. Without God you have no heart.

I think I like "Don't teach in my schools and I won't LEARN in your church," better!

I think its sad.
One day, God will touch your life, well I at least hope he does, and you'll long for the truth and the freedom it brings.
