My sister and I are having a bit of a feud,

I say that we need to get our mom 1000 Thread Count Satin Egyptian Cotton Sheets, But my sister says that NOBODY WOULD EVER WANT TO GET SHEETS FOR CHRISTMAS

So whos right and whos wrong?

This is my 2nd post of the night here. I am going through such terrible emotional pains now and I hope you guys dont mind posting again.
There are things in life that I am just lost, confused, and can't understand. I will list them below and hopefully some people can provide me with insights.
1. Why do innocent, good people have to die and suffer?
2. Why does life have to be unfair?
3. Is it your fault if you were born with terminal illness?
4. If you were born gay, how are you supposed to live with that for the rest of ur life? Isn't the Bible against homosexuality?
5. Why didn't God save tens of millions of innocent people, mostly civilians during WWII? How could He possibly let such horrible mass-scale atrocities happen? Why didn't He intervene?
6. Where is the world going seriously? Maybe it is just me, but I notice people getting more evil, greedy, losing conscience, moral values, violence happening all over the world.

Let me give you an example.Two weeks ago I e-mailed the newspaper with a question about a death row inmate.I never got a response.Then today I e-mailed the same question to them and signed it with my title "Rev. Jason Petty". They answered my question within hours.Does it make a difference when people think you are somebody or have some education, in the way people are treated?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years (lived together for almost 2). A few nights ago, I came home and could tell something was up. Eventually I got him to talk and he said (crying) that he no longer found me attractive. Ouch. What's worse is he was late for work and had to run out the door after saying that. I went out with a friend to keep my mind off of things, and when I came back home, I brought the conversation back to life, at which point he insisted he still loves me dearly but is no longer attracted to me... and that sex is not enjoyable for him anymore. Ouch again. He cried. I cried. And now, things are just weird. We both love eachother dearly, and we want to work it out, but I have no idea where to begin. How do I made myself more attractive? Should I even try? How do I recover my self-esteem after a blow like that? All kinds of questions! I'm so confused (and it doesn't help that it's FINALS week lol)

I work in a small factory and for Christmas they always give us a spiral ham (which is great) and a $50 Walmart card- then they take taxes out of our paycheck for the giftcard, so actually we are only getting about $35. I know I should be greatful to get anything and I am, but what do you think about them taking out taxes on a gift?

Usually if the gift is really terrible (i.e. a CD of a band I don't like, clothes I don't like, cologne that smells bad, a movie I don't like, etc.) I just act like I like it.

Is it really better to lie to the person? I mean, I'm thankful for the thought and the fact that I received a gift, but I feel bad because I'm not being honest.
