Let me give you an example.Two weeks ago I e-mailed the newspaper with a question about a death row inmate.I never got a response.Then today I e-mailed the same question to them and signed it with my title "Rev. Jason Petty". They answered my question within hours.Does it make a difference when people think you are somebody or have some education, in the way people are treated?

Same as Bethe that answered above. Whenever one of my family is in the ER or hospital, I try not to let anyone know I am a nurse til they start to screw up, or talk to me like I am an idiot. Then I toss in the R.N. thing and throw it right back at them or make them do things the proper way....

Status means everything in this material world we live in. I'm retired now but I owned my own business for a total of 35 years and even something like this speaking as a status symbol will open many doors. It shouldn't be that way but it is.
